Great video again. I had this size deep freezer back in the Carter years! But one thing I must stress to anyone using a freezer to store meat, go nuts with the plastic wrap. I'd generally wrap, with a giant spool of it, 4 or 5 layers tightly around each piece or it will slowly but absolutely start to dry out within a few months.
Hi Erik. Here is an instance where me being a science nerd will help! The letters and numbers are the molecular formula for cyclopentane. It's the insulator for the freezer. It does not contain HFC's. However, very flammable, which I am sure the warning stated. You are so right. It is important to be able to take advantage of any sale for fresh items to be able to freeze. Say hey to Jenn, tbe cowboy candy, refrigerator version...ohmygoodness, SO GOOD!!!
I got a great deal on one that size , at Home Depot 2 years ago on clearance for $179.00 !!! Minus the fancy LED light , and digital readout on the lid . I miss those days 😡😡 I checked my measurements,, it’s a tad bit smaller but still a good deal !
Were you still on the clock when you filmed this? 😁 Shouldn't the LED light be aimed down into the chest? Rather than shining in your face when you open the lid?

Those are good freezers! I have one similar to that for deer meat too. Holds two deer with no problem.

How many watts. Need to know if my generator will power it
The running wattage is 71 watts. The start up would be double that. Super easy for even the smallest generator or solar power station to run.
