It will be okay. I was diagnosed at 18 - October 2020 during covid. And it does get better I can tell you that.

I was diagnosed 4 months ago ! I am having a completely different experience than you .
I stopped eating carbs ! We have lost the ability to process carbs via inflamation of the pancreatic beta cells ! So adding glucose to the fire is not a good idea !! Type 1 is reversible! But you need an extremely strict diet with excercise.
It is worth it ! I'm the healthiest and strongest i have ever been !!!
You might not be ready to hear this info ! But im going to say it anyway ! There is a different way ! Diabetes saved my life !
Best of luck ! Look into keto diets ! Remember this !
" There is no such thing as an essential carbohydrate ,only essential fats and proteins "

I got diagnosed 5 months ago and I’ve defenetly not been the same ever since, it’s been so so hard for me to have to accept it and it hurts to know I’ll never be able to eat like I used to do. also no one in my family has it so no one understands how hard it is

I got diabetes in in like 2018 and yeah it sucks LOL. I'm thinking of also making a video about diabetes and I just wanna say this is so relatable, the needles really sucked and the pods are so much better, it's so much easier. One thing that is way better is that you don't Hage to change it for three days which, yeah, its way easier. Anyways, I hope the rest of your diabetes journey is good!

Oh my gosh! I hope you make a video about it! I am really excited for a pump haha, the multiple injections suck. Thank you so much! I wish you a healthy journey as well. 🫶🏼
