My son got NIT Trichirappalli- Mettalurgy , VIT Vellore ( Rank 6000 odd) and BITS . He joined BITS Goa - Dual degree. I still feel VIT vellore fee is higher as even for Rank 6000 category 1 & 2 fee seat in any computer discipline was not offered to my son in first round of counselling . Also the crowd in VIT is huge. Hence weigh your options carefully as I feel VIT is overhyped
