I think she's referring that to the fact that in the tropics, the sun doesn't move much from summer to winter, so a good spot to shoot a sunset in the winter wouldn't be that different from the summer. In the more moderate latitudes, up on the American East Coast where I'm from , for instance, there is a huge difference between where the sun sets in winter as opposed to summer. But they do have a rainy season down there for sure, so there is a wet season and dry season, but it doesn't affect the angle of the sunset. @@ryanstraseskie
