A useful video, I'm going to be arriving in DaNang in February for a couple of weeks as a vacation, and getting away from the winter cold here in the UK. And the beach is 100% better than that of Brighton too !!
I was in Da Nang last year after deciding to leave the UK too xD. I highly recommend Gom House on air B&B. Lovely owners, rooms and breakfast add on is around £1-2 😋
Hi mate. I am from Stirling and am thinking of a short break to Da Nang to test the water before a possible long term stay. Air BnB for 3 weeks roughly. Would like aplace with a pool and spacious room/kitchen and toilet. How much you reckon I would need to pay and can you advise a rough budget to live pretty well day to day? Cheers!👍🏻
Hi mate, yea there are so many options for airbnb or on agoda. Lots of low priced decent places. day to day budget you could probably spend only 15 per day have have a great time. Good luck!
The Korean restaurants are actually not good for the vietnamese economy. The restaurants are owned by big Korean enterprises and the tourist are paying a complete package back home so the money stays in Korea. There might of course be restaurants that are not into these cooperations. Some of these restaurants don't take other guests but those big busses of Koreans.
8:53 This area used to have a wide, sandy beach where people enjoyed playing volleyball. However, after last month's storm, severe erosion has brought the shoreline much closer to the road, which is really sad 😂
Hi, I enjoyed your video. Regarding the tap water, I am in Adelaide Australia and I don't drink the tap water here haha. I am going to visit Da nang some time this year then hopefully retire there next year
@@christopherpekel6096 yea most people who buy properties in the prime location of Da Nang are from Hanoi. If foreigners can own land, they will drive up the prices even more for local 😄
@@TrevorMelbourne-ef1inget away from the tourist areas it can be very cheap Live like a Thai 6 days of the week and a tourist 1 day it's still good value And don't have 3 girlfriends like many foreigners do, they'll strip your money lol

£18 you were totally robbed. You can be in a far better beach area, in a better hotel for £7 a night. Also, cash deposits are never insisted upon anywhere in Da Nang
The prices seem cheap for foreigners but not for locals , not to mention that they had jacked up the prices so much and especially during holidays. Foods and drinks are not safe to be honest. I was born in Vietnam and had only gone back there once for a honeymoon, will be going back again in the future because my relatives and father in law lives there.
Thank you for watching. I see that there are places priced more for foreigners but also a lot of local places that are much cheaper that I also try, and are great.
yea i am going to travel but i am having difficulty finding out a way to stay in a country longer than 6 months at a time. the travel costs will eventually eat up my budget.

I love Da Nang. I spent a month there last March and am coming again Feb 1st for 3.5 weeks.
Well on Daryl 👏🏼 get that lifestyle you need brother
Vietnamese New Year 2025 is coming. New Year's Eve will be start on 28/01/25. There will be a lot of fun activities everywhere in Vietnam.

Love it! Good to show the reality of places. Hotels are insane, particularly if it includes a full brekkie, crazy value 🎉
Wow that price is amazing for 2 nights. Nice video thanks
...⭐️⭐️⭐️ từ tháng 11 đến tháng 2 khách sạn tại Đà nẵng giá cả rất rẻ và rất ít khách du lịch 👍
You know that there are at least 11 beaches in Danang?

Is Vietnam still visa free for 45 days with a uk passport. Do they stamp your passport when you arrive

How much did you save up before you decided to leave the UK and do this tour yours bro? Thanks in advance
Great info, I'll be looking for hotels when I get there soon 👍
The beach looks much much nicer when it's not the stormy season like it is now.....

Are you sure you don't want to come back to the darkness? 😅
LOL I just don't miss those dark mornings only to be followed by a low gray sky with a cold chill. I'd rather go back to Oz
