Only those students who are selected and posted in interior areas or remote rural location can understand how it feels I'm selected as sbi JA posted in rural area my branch is besides RRB I feel like I'm working in RRB
It took me 6+ hours to reach my hometown
Now I'm preparing for IBPS clerk
I don't have problem with lower salary package! Location is my top most priority
Can you please tell me how you managed to study while working as rrb po what are your usual timings in rrb
If u want peace in bank job rular posting is much much better once u will go to metro city u will miss this

No didi you are not thinking stupidly....for this reason only i had not filled the form of ibps po and sbi po since postings are very far for all from their hometown...I had filled rrb po for this reason only that of i will be selected i will be someday posted near my hometown....My father daily say that begin your preparation again no problem happens....but mere pass himmat hi jaise nhi hai ki main phir se padhai karun 😶😟...I am in reserve list of rrb po by 0.08 marks...hope ki hum dono ke liye jo sahi ho woh hamein mil jaaye...best of luck for ur interview di...😊

Reality is that agar aage kisi exam ka preparation karna hai toh RRBs are the best. Chup chaap side ho jaoge. Aaraam se akele reh ke preparation kar sakta hai. Work pressure bhi kam. Salary bhi 50k+. The best.
Iske jaise ladki ko sirf "status" se matlab hai. Isko apne dosto ko bolne me sharam aata hoga ki "grameen" bank me hai. Sirf isi liye change ki. Yahi reason hai and you know it.

Thinks twice before jumping to same scale because u will be loosing seniority. And even job experience will not be counted. It's better to jump on scale 2-3 or SBI CBO and many more other exams. u will be saving everything.

One more thing di...i want to work in rrb...but agar kabhi future mein bade city mein rehna hua toh i will study for RBI for lucknow and kanpur office...and will try to get that prestigious jobs..

Preparation of 6-7 months and whole process took around 10 months from prelims to joining in bank
