What resonates the most is where we are today. To have a bike that can be blisteringly fast, yet comfortable, safe, AND reliable is nothing short of amazing. A few out there are also close, but none with the all-round performance envelope of this piece of wonderment! Thanks for a GREAT, real-world review!
Brilliant as always Chris… I’ve got a 2019 H2SXSE, she’s been to the Pyrenees and the Picos, two up, fully luggage’d up and just gets the job done, no fuss, no complaints, just pure enjoyment. The engine in my view is a masterpiece and very addictive… I’ve had sports bikes, Busa’s etc and I can honestly say that this is such an exciting and capable motorcycle and really is such a rewarding bit of Kawasaki wizardry👌🏽👍🏽
@@majordelays4909 Hello mate, to be honest, there’s no comparison! The 1000SX is a brilliant bike, but the H21000SX is amazing… I tried several one litre bikes to do the job I wanted to do, the moment I went up the road on the H2, that was it, order me one😉👍🏽 I’ve had it nearly 5 years now and it still blows me away with its capabilities… Go and try one, there’s nothing else like it on the market.
A mate of mine has one of these. Now he's a tall fit lad. Drags knees Everywhere on this bike, track days, rips canyons apart on it. That is one heck of a perfect bike! Ps. Great vid! 10/10
Absolutely loved this video, it is by far the best one done about the H2 sx se, you did everything. Thank you. And the smile on your face when taking about it, says it all 😊👍👍
Chris you nailed this video man. Great to see you out in Wales, in the wet having fun! More bike reviews need to be like this! Sunny Spain is great and all but, we live in the UK where is pisses down most of the time 😂
Love mine, I finally figured out Sygic GPS on the integrated screen. The biggest win on this bike is sitting bolt upright on the boring sections with the adaptive cruise doing the pace for you. Yes its heavy but it works for you by steam rolling over all the bumps and letting the suspension flatten them rather than upset the bike it has so much mass that it stays stable. It allows me to travel hours away to the mountain roads and ride all day and then head for home like a billionaire on his private jet. I don't find it all that attractive its looks are growing on me due to its ability to make each ride a delight. Add self cancelling turn signals. Add simple knob or tool path to adjust headlight vertical aim without fuss and you address my issues.
I can hear Chris talk about bikes all day long hahaha... I dunno, many can talk about bikes but there's just something about him that makes it enjoyable to watch the review. keep it up!
A good sports tourer should get you and your luggage to the Alps today, ride the passes with the sports bikes tomorrow, before returning home the day after. All with a big smile on your face. Nothing else can do that anywhere near as well as the H2 SX as you have very nicely shown. Great review!
Thee best motorcycling journalist out there. Articulate, funny and very knowledgable . Excellent review. There are an awful lot of TH-camrs out there that need to watch Chris's videos to get some tips !
I have one and the weight is felt in the agility general of the bike because it will never be at the level of a pure sports bike. On the other hand, it offers incredible stability in curves. To do this, simply fit sports tires more than the original ones.
Absolutely loved this, iv been looking at these for a while now - i really like the look of them for a start and then the fact they are actually a bit of a "do-it-all" type of machine and yes granted you are compromising at both ends of the scale but thats what a sports tourer is/should be for me... i spend all day out riding my zx7r or 918 fireblade anyway and im fine the next day but id not fancy going away on a long riding weekend on them for instance, im even more keen now!
I’m on my 2nd, now the SE plus with brembo’s and the semi-active suspension….oh and de-cat, filter & rolling road map of 255bhp (did 19k miles on my old bike with the same set-up)which transforms the bike to exactly what it always should have been! Very smooth throughout the range and blisteringly fast….Superbikes goodbye 😉👌🏻
Excellent and fair review Chris all I can say is Wow what a machine a brilliant allrounder which is very difficult to achieve. Back in the day….1994 I had a Honda CBR 1000F a similar bike back then without the tech - happy days 😊
Cracking review Chris and in proper British weather as well. Lovely to hear that chirp of the supercharger on the video. Looks like a brilliant all-rounder for fun and touring, expensive up front, but you are getting an amazing engine, reliability and a lot of tech. More sensible prices for new’ish ‘22 models out there.
I’m on my third one had a 2019,2021,and now a 2023.I’m retired and can ride at will.I’ve had mine flashed air filter and exhaust dynode at 257hp on a near perfect day.I’m 6’5” and a muscular 275lbs and this bike is a completely comfortable ride.I am going to buy a 2024 Busa to run around town to save miles on my 23 because I don’t I’m trading this one in.This bike is an absolute genius of a motorcycle.
Utterly amazing. My last bike was a 2016 BMW K1600 and I thought that was a fully loaded luxury touring maching. If I was still riding today, I would definitely select purchasing this Ninja H2 SX SE. Suzuki's SE package makes the H2 SX wonderful for daily riding.
Brilliant video Chris and thank you so much for shooting it on a wet day in the UK 👍 Whilst we all dream of touring distant shores in the sunshine, your video is the reality of riding in dear ole Blighty for a good 5 months of the year 😉 Being blessed with one of these incredible machines, may I just say that you are spot on🤗 There's nothing that I disagree with and seeing the maps working on the dashboard, I really must get my arse into gear and download the app 👍👍 So many thanks once again Chris, please keep on making your fantastic videos 🙏 Take care, all the best Russ
Great video Chris, I had a h2sx for 3years, I had a z1000sx before that, the z1000sx is more comfortable with better usable everyday power,I loved the h2sx amazing power but it really is too much for our roads, also you do have a lot of weight on your wrists and after 3years of ownership I traded in for a versus 1000s,less power but 120bhp is enough and the comfort is brilliant, I'm glad I owned an h2sx it's a great bike I looked at getting the latest model but decided to get the versys, definitely not as flash but it's a bike I feel is more usable for me👍
I’m fully aware the H2 SX exists but I have never wanted one… until now. Chris has done an excellent job of why this bike makes sense and why you need one. Will I buy one? No. I owned a ZZR1200 in the past and that was plenty. But anybody considering buying or on the fence about it, well, they’ve just been convinced.
My dad bought this bike this past summer. For a sport tourer idk that there is anything better. With all the electronics and comforts, you could really do crazy miles on this and still have fun. He can always ride my smc r if he wants something lighter though 🤣
Great review, really enjoyed it. The TFT is really fantastic, safety options, very good deed by Kawa. I own a new Goldwing and its a shame on Honda not having the same electronics as this one. Honda is late in this game, don't know why. I hear that 24 GW will have it all. This bike looks so sleek and just right. I just don't know if I can go back to forward leaning again. The Goldwing got me spoiled heavily. I would buy the Kawa before the BMW RT.
For someone who was not into sports bikes, or track days, the H2 SX SE would be a blast. It really would do everything they wanted. I had a bike that was often quoted as being a bit boring. However I never found it boring and it blew my socks off. Just being on a bike is perfect for me. Even riding at 20mph down a high street, and it's still a perfect experience. (Like you said on your Kwak Z900 RS video, "Bikes are amazing".) Hence have never seen the attraction for sports bikes, since they are also less comfortable.
Great stuff, Chris & Chris' uncle 👍If only Kawasaki invested in a 600 model to give the category some much needed low end shove. Perhaps the class wouldn't have all but disappeared ☹
Awesome review. I’ve always wondered why they put too much power on a sports touring bike, more than the GTR1400 but from your review it seems like a wonderful machine setting it apart from others. I’d love to give it a try one day.
It’s not too much power. Lots of 200hp sport bike riders want same performance in sport touring setup. This replaces zzr1400 also. Ninja1000 is available with less power and more simple platform.

Excellent review as always. Must admit do love the bike . It's quite hard getting a bike to do everything as so many are just single purpose and mostly pants 2 up. And getting very expensive to . Would be nice to have an old zzr11 colours from 90s as not a Kawasaki green fan or just boring black. Shame Triumph or Ducati don't do this style of bike.
Three yellow flashes to signal that they‘re on than three, two or one yellow flash to signal the strength than it turns green to signal that they‘re working
Iv'e had the H2 SXSE for over 5 years now bucking the trend of most bike owners and having completed all the major services myself think I understand my bike. I have completed up to 600 miles in 1 day on my bike here in the UK in Scotland not using dual carriageways or motorways and the very next day when getting on the bike it felt even better than the day before. Is it the bike for all occasions, yes. Is it the bike for everyone, no. I am hoping to take the bike up to 1,000 miles in a day but unlike the Iron butt group I avoid motorways so that will be an interesting ride. 10's of thousands of gear changes and braking will be needed and my bike and I will be tested properly.
How would you say this bike compares to the 2023 Yamaha MT 10 SP ? Which has more power? I would be adding bags and a rack on the 10 10 sp as well to make it more of a tour.
Hi Chris, thoroughly enjoyed the feature, the shots, the commentaries, the idea behind it. I‘m a big sport touring fan. I have a Ninja 1000sx and one of my „saved videos“ is your video about riding in the winter where you put a Ninja 1000sx through the motions. As you have extensively ridden both Kawasaki sport tourers (+ the Versys), do you think that the H2 SX is a big step up from the 1000sx? What I like about the 1000sx is that it has all the practicallity of the H2 SX (minus the high-tech) when it come to touring but in a lighter and maybe more manageable package. The H2 is also an expensive motorcycle. What would be the added value of the H2, apart from the ballistic engine? Regards
I’ve owned 1000sx, now this one beast, if you opt for se version suspension is way better than 1000sx, brakes as well because brembo, ahh and that engine even is not comparable to 1000sx it is not one step up from 1000sx it is many step ups up. I’ve owned ZZR1400 this one has something from that 😉 One downside of which I can think off comparing to 1000sx is fuel economy, but if you ride calm it is almost the same, but if you twist it will destroy fuel, but for that fun I don’t mind to pay more 😉
Great video! Glad you enjoyed it
Need a lotto win...but until then I will have to stick with my 2015 ZZR1400 Performance Sport.

I’ve owned ZZR1400 this one has something from that 😉
One downside of which I can think off comparing to 1000sx is fuel economy, but if you ride calm it is almost the same, but if you twist it will destroy fuel, but for that fun I don’t mind to pay more 😉
Put some stickier tyres and correct pressures in it ;D Id love to see you overtake everyone on track with a 260kg bike :')
