I think Drac really touches on the benefits of both blasters. I think his considerations for cost sensitive foam flingers is really important. The saved money can be spent on extra gear or darts. If not that, you can buy two blasters for you and a friend to play instead of running solo.
That nightingale is a sexy blaster but you can’t beat the venom for 50. The fire rate, battery and build quality is awesome. Can’t see myself getting the nightingale when I already have a venom.
Also if you're just starting out the venom pro not just comes with a battery it comes with a charger as well, most batteries need a separate charger which is another ten dollars or more
Great Video I went for twin VP's and there were a lot of reasons not just pricepoint and was decided after a couple of matches at a 150 cap wars dual wielding 2 of Nate Little Nightengale 1.0's one Semi and one Full auto. And here are my reasons... *I'm Primarily a Springer Rifleman/twin pistol/Sniper type player who just needs full auto for close end rushing defense or to push/ambush for a better Shooting position, not necessarily a primary. *I liked the fact they don't need 3s to approach 150 fps range and the fact the 2s was USB rechargable because as a springer player i hardly ever use lipo's and see them as one more thing i have to do before a game and discharge to 3.7 volts after, DZ using lithium ion and usb charging within 2 hours makes it simpler for those who are not as invested in FW But yet keeps them a real option to use in a war. *Ability to be able to quick charge with a 20 amp USB powerstick i can see as alot easier than finding an outlet at a park for a Lipo charger. *The lower ROF 7dps was easier to control dual wielded than the faster worker Nightengales. Lots of moments i mag dumped when i really just wanted to tap the trigger and let 2 or 3 fly instead of 10-12. But then again, i am a novice at Flywheels, but thats what a VP is for. If i was a Pro FW player who was using these as primaries and had better practice with that rof and motors to burn with knowledge how to easily replace them, ide probably go with twin Nightengales
I already own a Venom Pro and enjoy it far more than I expected. It points very naturally despite the form factor and the backstrap switch isn't bad. I do prefer the Nightingale for its aesthetics, build quality and trigger but its loudness is a deal breaker. Also, in 2024 I feel like protection circuits should be standard. I've had li-pos in the past and I know it's not a huge deal but I'm just not in the mood to babysit batteries anymore. If I were to take the plunge on another flywheeler it would be the Diana. Other than being expensive it checks all the right boxes for me.
You get a like from me for the John Wick reference alone. Thanks for all you do. Appreciate the critical comparison review. We need more of these in the hobby.
I can't compare to a Nightengale as I've never used one, but I'm very satisfied with my two Venoms! They saved me a couple times over the weekend in their first fielding. Only complaint being, that thermistor has got to go! The slightest jam and it would be in limp mode for like 30 seconds.
In China, worker nightingale 2.0 only casts 50 US dollars, but DZ blasters cost double or triple of its price in the US. We have reversed price between two countries. So sad......
I have a Venom Pro, and it's probably the coolest blaster I own, personally. The Venom's value proposition is utterly insane- the fact that it's so cheap means you can put the money you saved into your kit, upgrades or mod-kits. Gordon Soo did a video on it and put a 3S in it. It went up to nearly 150fps and fired a little faster. I'm honestly tempted to get a 2nd one...
I haven’t seen a comparison video from Drac for a long time! I must say Dart Zone has done really well this year, it’s almost like they listened to us. If I had to choose, it would be the Nightingale, just due to the fact they are Way easier to get a hold of where I live. Dart Zone has zero distribution here, so lots of lost customers. We can get a few, but nothing new, thanks for the video!
Venom Pro. Was seriously thinking on an Ngl 1.0. Then came the Ngl 2.0. In the midst of searching for the right battery and shop for more mags, DZP intro'd the Venom AND Striker 2.0. Decision: Venom + Striker for cost of the Ngl 2.0 sans extras. Primary and Secondary combo in 1 trip to Target! -Scopes Maverick
Feel like running two 50 secendaries and spending more on your primary a front sling so you just drop your primary grab two from your holster and can clear a hallway confidentily
I don't have anything to add regarding this review I just wanted to say I have a regular Venom but more importantly i have a custom Venom Pro from Al the Geek and it so incredibly cool! Al even gave me deal on it.
I got into the hobby for HvZ, but it was 2020, so I didn't get to play, ever. I still collect some blasters, though, and the venom is a compelling blaster for the price point. Especially considering the outlaw was 30, and I bought 2 of those, lol.
I bought two Venoms and bought an SMG body kit for one. Also having a battery is huge since I haven’t gotten into using lips nor do I trust myself to handle lipos properly 😅
Kate Beckinsale in black leather, enough said about Underworld. But as for this, I have a full auto nightingale 1.0, the select fire kit on another nightingale 1.0, and just a low powered nightingale. I did buy a venom pro, and I'll be honest I still like the nightingales much better, they just feel better in hand, imo
Nightingale, need that mag dump speed for a side arm panic situation or just a run through a heavily populated area. The venom is great but you'll always wish you had the nightingale
Hey Drac can you review the Adventurer Force Desperado and do a mod guide? I got mine at my local Walmart 2 days ago they are awesome I removed the dart gate already and got a 10fps boost. If you want me to send you 1 I'll do it
Let's not forget, you can still get nightingale 1.0 for a price right in between. There isn't a lot of difference between 1 and 2 IMO. And the venom stands tall as well.
Visually I always found the nightingale a little off, the barrel I was just never a fan of. I know they fixed that with 2.0 but now it's $120+. The venom just nails it for me, nice silhouette, the colors are atrocious but that's an easy fix, really easy platform for modding and improvement
I think the $50 price point makes the Venom Pro the clear comparative choice for 95% of people in every scenario except for a competitive situation. It's basically BOGO compared to the Nightingale (for which you still need to get a battery and charger!). If the Venom Pro were priced at $79, I think the math changes and then it's not such a clear choice. I'm sorry to have missed you on the Halcyon, Drac. May the stars light you way.
Venom mags seem more dart tolerant of existing dart lengths than the Nightengale mags, though. Seen too many people have to buy darts that are a mm or two shorter just so the mags would feed right.

Nightingale 1.0 is cheaper than the venom.
@@DEVILISHLY_DELICIOUS cheapest nightingale 1.0 I’ve found is 65 on out of darts but it’s semi auto, 80 for full. Plus you still need a battery.

@johnswenson9119 good point! didn't even think about the charger.
I haven't watched the channel in awhile. It's crazy how far blasters have come. I remember when the rainbow pump was the best of the best
Couldn't really imagine the Nightingale 2 being any better, getting more than 1 clip with it would be nice though lol.
Absolutely there's a segment of us who will make this decision based on bore position. Small segment. But it exists and we're glad he mentions it.
I am definitely in this segment
With these two bangers and the addition of the HC Diana, its hard for me to choose my sidearm sometimes!
I like the Underworld saga to 😂, thanks for this comparison!!

Bore height in Foam Blasters matters more at long range where drop compensation is much more pronounced.

I appreciate you can admit the Underworld franchise isn't good, but you still enjoy it. Honesty! 😅
And here in Australia the Venom is almost twice the price of the Nightingale... think I'll stick with the Nightingale

The only things I want is for Dart Zone to make a holster and exclusively sell more mags for the Venom
Check the website. They put up a “coming soon” page for venom mags today.

I'm 100% picking up that body kit. It's the xFox Games one, right? Man it's such a good idea.
They're both great products at their respective price points.

You can fit a 3s 850Ma in the Venom Pro, it bumps the fps to 130 and the rate of fire, still up in the air if i want I Nightingale. I just plink.

Vampires vs Werewolves!
Cheering about vampires with machine pistols like it's opening night of Underworld 1 again
Cool but I'd rather stick with a night finder ex03
Nightingale 1 with china auto kit is fun too
The venom seems like the starter option that upgrades into the nightingale and finally into the diana
Damn clever of dart zone to do this. See a need fill a need, and they are laughing all the way to the bank.
I 100% agree about Underworld. LOL
I couldn't find the Venom Pro while I was in Seattle last weekend :(
I wonder if I should use a Venom Pro dual wield as a primary in a battle...
Come for the reviews, stay for the hard-hitting views on Vampires and Werewolves.
Any chance do you have the zombie strike chain saw I'll buy it off ya for my mklll what ya want for it

Theyre the same price over here due to importing them, nightinggale even slightly cheaper than the venom
All the venom pros I’ve had have had a lot of problems
I’m frustrated that neither of these have select fire.
Drac, how many times do you get to Disney every year? My biggest regret is never having been to galactic star cruiser…
The answer is the nightingale version 1.0 is better than both.
