I bet that place was beautiful in it's day, and full of life and laughter. It's so sad that man had to live like that in his last years. Thank You Noah.
This was a very classy house at one time. When they were well, the owners probably kept it immaculate!! Very beautiful explore, Noah!! Thank you for posting!!
He had to have been with a female at some point to have the pink bathroom she probably passed away long before he did regardless so sad all alone in that big house day after day and then the homes all around you being torn down probably broke his heart the changes happening all around him
This was another good one!!! You mentioned your dad and it reminded me of a video where he came with you, it would be cool if he came along on another explore!!
People leave stuff behind because they have no where take it. Kids often don't want their parents old stuff. Assisted living and nursing home rooms can't hold people's decades of accumulation. Great video. Thanks.
I do appreciate you taking the time to figure out what happened to the house and the people that used to live in it. Very sad to hear. Congratulations on the 100k subs and the shiny silver TH-cam plaque, you deserve it! I have been following for a long time and you are my favorite abandoned explorer.
The guy lived to his 90s? That was a pretty long life. At 5:18 that's an old RCA TV manual there. UHF/VHF KNOBS. Kids nowadays don't know what that is. Very, very nice house.
Pretty sure that’s a mid 70’s build (fireplaces give it away), and the decor looks to all be from late 70’s, so everything in there is original. Most likely there was only one owner.
I realize the terminology is different in Canada from the US but a bathroom without a tub/shower is usually called a "Half Bath" here, with a way to bathe, a "Full Bath" A washroom implies a half bath, "bathroom" for the other.
If I could buy this house , I would and restore it. Such a beautiful home, peaceful surroundings, nice inside. So sorry 😞 about the owner who died here, but he's in a even better place 🙏🏾 💞
The house is very tastefully decorated with all its gold frames and all, I love the tiles in that black bathroom. So sad that the basement is in such a state, thanks Noah for this great thorough investigation
Noah, my Mum and I were freaking out for you not wearing a mask!!! Tsk, tsk. It was so bad in the basement we hope you're ok? Take care! Kim & Lorraine
That was a big beautiful house I loved all the bathrooms loved the inside of the house just beautiful so sad tho they have to tear down so sad the man that passed away 🙏🏠🥰👍
This house has some nice features in it like the beautiful stone fireplaces and the elegant glass doors. With no family left behind I wonder who cleared out most of the belongings in the house. It's a very sad story, may the owner R.I.P.
Folks probably built this house as their dream house when they were young and working in the 60's and then probably could not afford to keep it up as they aged and the house ages. They may have lost interest in anything but surviving or living day by day. It's understandable. Great video. Thanks.
I feel so sorry for the man who lived here and died here. 😢 What a shame. He had no family, but he sure had a big enough home to house a family. This home would have been a gorgeous home 🏡. I ❤️ LOVE the circular driveway and carport. The entryway is so beautiful, all those doors plus their etched, very nice! I would be happy if they would save the entryway etched doors. they're just too pretty to destroy. With all that ugly mold, I wouldn't want anything from this home except for the entryway doors. Thank you, Noah, for sharing this beautiful home 🏡, you're a GREAT guy! You made me jump and laugh when you touched those plates, and they all moved, I didn't expect that! 😂😅 Thank you again, my friend. Take care, and I will see you next time! Your friend, Didi, 😀👋
It's super sad to see a house get neglected and have a very bad basement that flooded. I was wondering why the people couldn't hook up a extension cord to sump pump and pump out the water just like with the other house that flooded and have a generator right outside.
It's sad that older people aren't able to manage properties and they fall into such a state, there were quite a few lovely features. The creepy doll, my daughter had one just like it in 2003. It would blink its eyes, cry, play, eat, etc. She says now that she's 24, it was a creepy doll when she saw it in pictures. It was expensive in 2003. lol. I really liked the master with the fireplace. You guys in Canada see much more snow than South Carolina, I imagine it would be quite nice and comforting. I love my fireplace but it's hit and miss here, we have blended seasons. Great video, thanks for sharing! The basement was huge, that was a ton of water down there. Take care, stay safe and God Bless! xoxo 💞 Kat
That basement is a real treasure trove - where to start? First off the hardest thing for me would be not wanting to jump into the saddle of that cool vintage CCM exerciser and pedal like the wind; those things are so fun and collectible now. Too bad about all that mold as those IBM PC’s down there are a gem and must date back as far as the early 90’s That TV definitely does not look to be the original like the manual as it has what appears to be 80’s Zenith controls and the RCA in the manual looks about 60’s-70’s or so. So much history in this place. Please find more places like these cause I love the stories these houses tell.
What a sad story attached to this house 😢a shame it was left to rot away , can be dangerous to explore Noah so be careful and thank you for taking us along for the adventure❤
Nice house. Looking at the decor I'd say he had NO say in the interior decoration. Kitchen looks like done in early 80's, sun room and basement in late 70's, and the rest looks late 50's to early 60's. Interesting place.
I appreciate your videos you do a great job. I wish I could send you addresses to explore just outside of Tampa,Florida Today, I drove down a side road there were two old cars parked underneath a carport abandoned without a doubt. The roof of the house literally had a moss on it that looked like grass. It appeared someone mowed the yard. No way I would enter but gosh wish you took requests throughout America and Canada of course.
never have i seen a home like this before the basement if was not full of water would have been great to have a look around but the whole looked nice if the house needed renovations to it

Makes me sad to know he lived like that with no one to look after him. I’m sure this was a beautiful home back in the day and he was proud of it.
I would have loved to see that house in its pristine state. My favorite part was the black bathroom, I loved the wallpaper with animals on it!
It's pretty sad about the owner. It was a nice house though. Thanks for showing us this gem before it disappeared!

I was telling Noah the same thing.

Some really nice antique dishes. Beautiful chairs. Such a shame that beautiful house went to ruin.
It actually wasn't bad where he lived in the upstairs. The basement just got bad from the flooding.
Please don't go in places like that basement! It's not worth it

Doors, doors. Everywhere the doors.😊 tears for the loneliness of this neglected guy. Hate the erasure and forgotten experiences of this guy.
the belongings left in that house are worth a fortune

Collector's items in there. Should be rescued.

I think that Sunbeam Love Lights make-up appliance is from the 60's. Very cool video. Thanks.
Ither he had a maid or he was doing a lot of cleaning. That does not look like a single 90 year old man lived there.
You did a great job 💖
What a gorgeous and loved home this was back in the day 😞a sad ending for the owner and the house. Thanks for the tour Noah 👍🏡
Sad story , beutiful home. Those glasses in the beginning are Kings crown. My mom left me with a service of 12 from my childhood.
I had that same lighted make-up mirror back in the 1970s. Flashback.
What a sad story, great video though
I hope that the buyer will repurpose a lot of these items so they won't be destroyed and maybe give to habitat for resell or give them away.
the stem wear in the closet is kings crown .. my mom had 12 place settings of that glass💞

So many computer monitors from the 90's. Wish you'd wear a mask. Cool video. Thanks
Why didn't someone, neighbors, community groups, help him with his upkeep. So sad.
That house is not that bad as shape got to falling off could be put back up or brand new one could be put on
