I have realized somewhat recently that I really love green fragrances and green notes in perfumery. I have a lot more exploring to do, but I have a few favorites that weren’t mentioned. I love Sisley Eau de Campagne. It’s super duper green with a prominent tomato leaf note. Ormonde Jayne Ormonde Woman is one of my favorite fragrances in the whole world and it’s got a lovely grass note. And I love love love Guerlain Angelique Noire.

I love perfumes with green notes but I can’t pull them off most of the time. They turn sour on my skin. One that works for me is Jo Malone Wild Bluebell. Not great projection but I do enjoy it. I need to smell Illicit Green!
Green scents are basically where my perfume journey began more than 30 years ago. Chanel No.19 EDP was my no.1 fragrance and other vintage green fragrances such as Jean Louis Scherrer, Dioressence, Safari, Sung and more recently Angelique Noire. Also the d/c Escada signature (2005) is one of the few green aquatic style fragrances I really enjoyed. I ADORE tuberose so you have my interest piqued now with the Armani Vert Malachite! Lovely list Arlene.
I don’t like a lot of green scents in general but I found Chanel Eau Fraiche very lovely. It’s so nice. I have a perfume crayon of it. I find Chanel Poudre quite nice. Powdery, soft. Chanel 19 is just beautiful & when my mum wears this scent & it makes me turn my head it’s so lovely.
I really love A Scent - there’s some flankers to it as well. I have the Neroli one but there is a Florale flanker as well. But the original A Scent is wonderful and so affordable!! ♥️
You always surprise and intrigue us! May I recommend Rain Kissed Leaves by Bath and Body Works. It is a retired fragrance that is widely available online for a reasonable price.
Wonderful review of your green scents. Lots to check out. Would love to smell Vert Malachite! Sounds like a dream fragrance. Chanel N19 and poudree are on my immediate wish-to-buy this summer list. Love both so much! Unique and refreshing.
I was curious if you added Chanel 19 . This video could not have existed without it. I'm not so much into green, herbals and neither do I like Chanel in general but Chanel 19 really convinced me

Hai Arlene, do you think A Scent by Issey Miyake smells vintage / dated / old-school? I'm willing to buy but drugstore under my flat doesn't have tester bottle of it. Meanwhile A Scent has 50% sale and they only 2 left. From your list above I do love Chanel 19 Poudree, I also strong like Gucci Memoirs, I do really like Un Jardin Sur Le Toit, and don't love Chance Eau de Fraiche.
Gucci memoir perfume I tried it and tried to like it but it just wasn't one I gravitate to want to wear just a beautiful bottle and I just couldn't get to like it enough to keep it.Virginia

My favorite green perfume is definitely N 19 by Chanel, in all concentrations. I also like Hermes. My first green was Laguna by Salvador Dali.

Vert surprised me. It was very floral (tuberose) versus green. VM is gorgeous but doesn’t quench my craving for green so much.

Florabotanica is my 2nd favorite green sent rose mint with green leaf crisp beautiful french perfume

Eau Fraiche isn’t as fresh as I expected. It’s green, but suuuper sophisticated versus freshie, imo.
