- We hit the pitch with AK as he decides to put the Vapor 13 up against the Vapor 12. With the Vapor 12 being released only a year ago, for Nike to release the Vapor 13 meant that something had to change. So we put both boots up to the test over 3 challenges based around speed, changing direction with the ball and finishing! What were the results?

Boots dont make you faster🤦♂️
We're not claiming the boots make you FASTER. But a boot that's slightly lighter and the snap back from the Aerotrak soleplate were noticeable when tested. All tests were done 3 times keeping the variables the same and that was the result.

Good question but difficult to determine as it depends on your exact budget 🤷♂️

Mateee this is your performance not the boot's.
Of course it's about performance. The variables were the same for each test making it as fair as possible. As for the product - they can certainly help to create a positive feeling and install confidence in a player. That in itself can make the difference. But as far as both boots are concerned , the Vapor 13 is EASILY better!

Now I regret buying the vapor 12 so late
The Vapor 12 is still a great boot. Even though I have a few pairs of the 13, I still switch back to the Vapor 12 sometimes. Especially my limited edition ones! 👊 // AK
@Thijs Jannink that's odd. The coating on the Vapor 12 definitely makes the upper feel more stiffer. And as good as teijin was in its day, the Vapor 13 has the best Mercurial upper to date, no cap.
