I think it is great that Jay does this for small businesses with cool products like these. And, let me say that I have some experience with this type of blanket, they are very durable and a great choice of material for this sort of thing.
I agree, we need people helping these folks and these are products I would not ordinarily get to see work. Saddam's car is such a POS that he covers his paint job with 5 buck Chinese knockoffs. He gets his paint done at Earl Scheib!
Wes Hilton Poor Saddam, writing us from hell. He's lost his palaces and has to resort to buying crap from Walmart. Come to think of it, shopping at Walmart is like making a deal with the devil.
That's a nice price. It seems the products he often features are interesting and/or useful, but seem really expensive. I may actually look into one of these.
Good product at a good price, kudos Mr Baker. And thanks to you Jay for these segments, these videos are a real service, they can make a real difference in the lives of these inventive, hard working 'little guy' manufacturers.
An important thing that can be changed by the creator of the Fender Bibs is that he can maybe create a sort of a bag in the front where you can store spanners and tools that are not too big. I have seen too many back yard mechanics placing there tools anywhere on the fenders and forget about the tools when they close the bonnet. It can damage the vehicle. A bag at the front to place these tools in will help a lot and you will not have too look allover for your tools. You will just know where they are.
MrSlowestD16 not with the minimum wage rising to 15 dollars an hour!! have you heard the entire state of CA is going to go belly up witht he minimum wage goes up to 15 and hour. atleast thats what the local news told me
I was expecting some crazy price but that is actually pretty darn good. I did notice he said 50-03. I wonder if it isnt too big for a more modern, smaller engine bay.. Anyway, cool product.
Keep showing us more of these specialty inventions, Jay! That thing would work great on my Grand National to cover the paint that goes around the front of the car. I worry about covering the grill on my Mopars though because the cover might let someone think the area is solid enough to lean on.
K.I.S.S. keep it simple .... got to love it when things so simple work so well. Thanks for helping every one out Jay .... now if I only had paint on my ride
Another good product, and credit to Jay for promoting these small suppliers. How else does someone from the other side of the planet find out about these specialist products. Well done guys :)
A very practical idea at a decent price, much cheaper than risking your paint work. I like to it can with stand brake fluid etc, that`s just good peace of mind.
They should have mentioned how it helps to absorb impact from screws, bolts, and sockets falling on fenders and painted surfaces, besides the keys and belt buckle scratches. Nice product, I'm sure it has its place in the auto world
I use worn out beach towels and when I want to impress people, I place my FORD RACING (a gift) rubber fender cover. I pull my shirt out so it hangs over my belt buckle when I work on the engine. Looks like this cover would take up a great deal of space to store. A rich man's toy.
LOVE your '56 Imperial Jay. How about an episode on it? My father had both a '56 Dodge Coronet and a '56 Dodge D500 car, both of which looked similar. He also had a '59 Imperial Crown convertible, but this looks even nicer than the '59.
I really was looking forward to seeing Jay's coverage of the Carmel/Monterey auto week, but it doesn't seem as though it's going to hit youtube. That's sad to me, as I don't have television so I'll be missing a lot of great content.
those look nice im a body man/mechanic and thise would come in handy a lot and I don't think jays hurtin for cash hahahahaha hes a good ole American who wants to help creative hardworking inventors ect in the automotive world whats wrong with being a nice guy I guess everyone is so used to people who are rich trying to screw them if u know jays store u know he busted his ass for yrs as a stand up comic and earned his way so he knows a hard working good guy when he sees them and trys to support them I say kudos to jay and come on people why do we gotta troll things like this
I love watching this channel! :D And I like Jay he is a fun chill guy. I grew up watching home improvement, and i feel that this is kinda like Tim Taylor's local show 'Tool Time' if it were about Cars. Idk off the subject, but I like the aspect of this show alot. :)
Make the universal fit model out of normal fender protector stuff, and I'll buy it (and pay more than $99 if necessary.) Cloth just ain't going to fly in my greasy, greasy world.
Yes, Jay, the fender bib is really lovely, but what I actually wanted to know was, would you and Bob be interested in these slimming pills I'm selling ??? They're guaranteed to make you half the man you were !!!!
Kind of upset about there not being any good new videos the last two have been a ford highboy and some car aprons im a big fan but this does not entertain me thinking of unsubscribing if no other good videos.
The only good product I have seen on Jay's channel is that de-rusting chemical which was made by germans. Now that stuff is impressive. This, not so much in my opinion.
$150 for polyester and recycled cotton.... for people with more money than brains. Unless you want to use it for a very expensive new car or collector's car, for work on a regular car it's a waste of money.
If Jay ain't skint, how come he's hustling us to buy this kind of crap, so's he can earn commission ???? Wake up you fools, it's as plain as day, the dude's strapped for cash !!!!
***** Please don't talk about Jay like that. O.K., so he's not the sharpest knife in the draw and he's lost all his money, but, come on, give the guy a break. Show some bloody sympathy, for Christ's sake.
Respect for leno helping people out !!
The universal one is a great product. And very easy to adjust to size. He did a really good job on these. I wish him the best of luck.
I think it is great that Jay does this for small businesses with cool products like these. And, let me say that I have some experience with this type of blanket, they are very durable and a great choice of material for this sort of thing.
I'm going wait until China makes them for my car. 4.99 at Walmart
Thanks for the showcase, Jay!
Your cover is great, Bob! Congrats on getting on the show!
That's a nice price. It seems the products he often features are interesting and/or useful, but seem really expensive. I may actually look into one of these.
bob seem like a legit down to earth guy!!...hands down to jay leno for helping bob out!!!!
Good product at a good price, kudos Mr Baker. And thanks to you Jay for these segments, these videos are a real service, they can make a real difference in the lives of these inventive, hard working 'little guy' manufacturers.

Looks like a good product at a fair price.
This is actually pretty genius, I'm would be surprised if this doesn't start selling alot of them.
i hope not that poor guys will die a of a heartattack from all the work!!
KoG GoK He could hire people too
*a lot.
KoG GoK I'm sure he can hire some extra hands though!
MrSlowestD16 not with the minimum wage rising to 15 dollars an hour!! have you heard the entire state of CA is going to go belly up witht he minimum wage goes up to 15 and hour. atleast thats what the local news told me
Much respect jay. Always love your videos and the fact you helping people out with there business is just amazing.
Wow! finally a new product that's cheap & affordable. best of luck Bob.
I was expecting some crazy price but that is actually pretty darn good. I did notice he said 50-03. I wonder if it isnt too big for a more modern, smaller engine bay..
Anyway, cool product.
I looked at his new site and his video has a mini with a cover on it.
Yeah I really don't see why it has to end at 03, it'll fit on many cars I reckon!
or possibly sew male & female velcro in different spots on the universal one to fit different cars?
I love your shows man and look forward to them every weekend. THANK YOU.
Keep showing us more of these specialty inventions, Jay! That thing would work great on my Grand National to cover the paint that goes around the front of the car. I worry about covering the grill on my Mopars though because the cover might let someone think the area is solid enough to lean on.
YES JAY I LOVE YOU.....you have not abandoned this channel, and for that I THANK YOU GREATLY!!!! :)
K.I.S.S. keep it simple .... got to love it when things so simple work so well.
Thanks for helping every one out Jay .... now if I only had paint on my ride
Another good product, and credit to Jay for promoting these small suppliers. How else does someone from the other side of the planet find out about these specialist products. Well done guys :)
Great idea Bob . You should look into sewing some magnets into it to hold it in place for working alone especially the universal one.
A very practical idea at a decent price, much cheaper than risking your paint work. I like to it can with stand brake fluid etc, that`s just good peace of mind.
Pretty reasonable product. We all like seeing neat cars..... but this kind of segment certainly serves good as well.
I think this is a great idea, hope this guy goes far. Hell I think I might buy one.
Thank you Jay for standing up for made in USA.
When I get to working on the '72 Charger again, I am going to need one of those!
They should have mentioned how it helps to absorb impact from screws, bolts, and sockets falling on fenders and painted surfaces, besides the keys and belt buckle scratches. Nice product, I'm sure it has its place in the auto world
come on jay gimmie a video on that 550 spyder. please.
I use worn out beach towels and when I want to impress people, I place my FORD RACING (a gift) rubber fender cover. I pull my shirt out so it hangs over my belt buckle when I work on the engine. Looks like this cover would take up a great deal of space to store. A rich man's toy.
He needs to make Jay a pair of pants out of that material.
LOVE your '56 Imperial Jay. How about an episode on it?
My father had both a '56 Dodge Coronet and a '56 Dodge D500 car, both of which looked similar. He also had a '59 Imperial Crown convertible, but this looks even nicer than the '59.
Jay needs a bib from drooling over all those cars. ;)
Oh wow. I am getting one of those. That's a great price!
Does Jay have some kind of guided tour of his garage ?
Looks like a cut up harbor freight moving blanket. Ill buy a couple and have my grandmother sow them back up to my specs.
Good idea, think I'll go cut a blanket.
I really was looking forward to seeing Jay's coverage of the Carmel/Monterey auto week, but it doesn't seem as though it's going to hit youtube. That's sad to me, as I don't have television so I'll be missing a lot of great content.
i like it good job.
Your suite are pretty fantastic Jay. They're bespoke, no?
those look nice im a body man/mechanic and thise would come in handy a lot and I don't think jays hurtin for cash hahahahaha hes a good ole American who wants to help creative hardworking inventors ect in the automotive world whats wrong with being a nice guy I guess everyone is so used to people who are rich trying to screw them if u know jays store u know he busted his ass for yrs as a stand up comic and earned his way so he knows a hard working good guy when he sees them and trys to support them I say kudos to jay and come on people why do we gotta troll things like this
Nice
Great idea well done
When are you going to do a video of your Imperial?
perfect shot
Simple and good
Not bad for 99 bucks it is a good price.
Great idea. Hope he makes a fortune!
Gotta hand it to Leno. I didn't think they could talk about this for eight minutes.
Great idea. Simple and effective.
Pretty neat stuff
seeing as the r32 skyline is now legal in you country can you please do an episode on it.
Id buy one if i had a sweet ride. Thats a good price
I love watching this channel! :D And I like Jay he is a fun chill guy. I grew up watching home improvement, and i feel that this is kinda like Tim Taylor's local show 'Tool Time' if it were about Cars. Idk off the subject, but I like the aspect of this show alot. :)
how does the paint stick on the springs of the hood, shouldnt it flake off from expanding?
good idea, i'm gonna make one for 20$ Thanks
You'd think the description could at least give a clickable link right on top of the JLG stuff.
good on you Jay for supporting the little guy, well he's not so little hehe, and soon his business might not be either. Thumbs up!
Hey Leno - Supercar Sunday fan here. How do I get on your show? ;)
I like this guy (Bob), unlike most of the goofball owners of cars Jay has on the show.
Great Idea ! Thanks Jay, for bringing this to everyone's attention. "I gotta get me one of these" ! To quote Will Smith in 'Independance Day'
Cool I like.
If I can get one for my S2000, then I'm sold!
You most certainly can, Robert! Call us at (844) 825-5592, and we can set you up, no problem!
Cool!
He needs to add a pocket where you can keep your beer close by.
Time to get Bailey Blade over here?
cool stuff
more bikes!!!
I like that guy.
I like that bib.
I like Jay.
All you haters go away.................
Jay is very good person. MrKeyboardCommando
He should try to find some way to fire proof it. Or make it with fire proof material. Then market it also as a capable fire blanket if needed.
how many did Jay buy ?
wow
I don't think I would put one on my car JUST TO CHECK THE FLUID LEVL as suggested! That would be too much.
My father is a professional Mechanic, he uses beach towels on the cars.
Just save ur old shower certains. Work great for under the car and reuseable.
lol I thought they were hiding the product under a black sheet ^^
Make the universal fit model out of normal fender protector stuff, and I'll buy it (and pay more than $99 if necessary.) Cloth just ain't going to fly in my greasy, greasy world.
somebody iron Jay Leno's clothes
99 is a fair price, $149 is iffy, but it's also custom made.. so I guess
I could steal one of those covers from Uhaul and make one myself ...
It won't work on my 73 Dodge Van
Why not make an apron out of this stuff, if done right it wouldn't hinder movement.
bob baker's can you make one for a 38'chevy
Of course, Daniel! It won't be our first '38 Chevy. Call us at (844) 825-5592.
ty bob
i will you a call
...yea custom fit... Fold the corners around the car...
Bought two plastic bibs for about 100 bucks... Ah crap!
Jay! Do you even read these comments? 1
Great for car shows so people don't drool on your car...
Yes, Jay, the fender bib is really lovely, but what I actually wanted to know was, would you and Bob be interested in these slimming pills I'm selling ??? They're guaranteed to make you half the man you were !!!!
Wow you can totally hear that guy breathing heavily throughout the whole thing. Must be a nervous wreck. Cool product.
This is huge for him it's going to change his life
Being middle aged and obese doesn't help.
AOCLIVE Hopefully being on Jay's website will allow him to eat more BBQ.
I think his mic is too close to his mouth. Jay is much quieter.
Does not work for BMW ... :/
Jays getting old, too bad. All he had to do was exercise vigorously
and he would still be hosting the tns.
Kind of upset about there not being any good new videos the last two have been a ford highboy and some car aprons im a big fan but this does not entertain me thinking of unsubscribing if no other good videos.
Sir whines alot
Listen!
Hear that? Those people who care?
Oh wait........
Could i have one made for my girlfriend?
Pshh talking like that $40 denim shirt is cheap...
that aint gonna fit my corolla
The only good product I have seen on Jay's channel is that de-rusting chemical which was made by germans. Now that stuff is impressive. This, not so much in my opinion.
$150 for polyester and recycled cotton.... for people with more money than brains. Unless you want to use it for a very expensive new car or collector's car, for work on a regular car it's a waste of money.

I can't tell if you're trolling.
undeadkillers Great sarcasm, Killer, I love it !!! ;-)))
MrKeyboardCommando You're no fun to play around with :(
undeadkillers Sorry, man, didn't mean to spoil your fun, honest. ;-)))
***** Please don't talk about Jay like that. O.K., so he's not the sharpest knife in the draw and he's lost all his money, but, come on, give the guy a break. Show some bloody sympathy, for Christ's sake.
What is this, a car site or some fucking cheapjack sales channel ???? Next thing you know, the guy'll be selling bloody kitchen appliances !!!!!
