- I try woodturning a resin sphere in a wooden yew tree cube!
I have had this idea ever since I made my globe in a cube and I'm glad I got around to doing it!

Normally, people will soak the cube and then press the sphere in while the wood is flexible, but where's the fun in doing things the easy way? :P

I saw this done in metal. It was a bit different, they start with a solid cube. This always impressed the hell out of me. I've been waiting to see a wood turner do it. Great job.

This reminds me of a video I saw, someone made a cube within a cube within a cube with metal, using only a lathe.
I have one of them on my bench that I've made a few years ago from wood on the lathe, I forget now how I even did it lol
This next test involves discouragement redirection cubes. I just finished building them after you had your, well, episode. So now we’ll both get to see how they work. There should be one in the corner.

можно проще, сделать куб, отдельно шар, потом распарить дерево на пару, оно станет пластичным, запихать внутрь шар, и когда дерево высохнет, шар останется внутри
