I OD 3 time’s and hospitality more then I can count,sent too rehab multiple times!Even went too jail for driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.I felt as if I was in a never ending cycle of dark addiction. Im sober now,have good friends,workout, and plan on going too college or a trade.But most importantly I am saved from the past,Because of the beautiful light/love of Jesus Christ’s🙏🏼🙏🏼😇
A testimony again ....my son is seriously sick laying unconscious and could not recognize people for two days now ..I had this song on my mind and decided to play it ,after listening to the song immediately they called me my son is up and can recognize everyone around him.father let your name be forever praised
God saved me I was in a Bicycle accident 5 - 6 years ago and was pronounced dead, I was lifted up and saw my body laying down on the pavement and seeing my sister yelling please help my big brother he's dying, I woke up in an ambulance where I was in a body bag and everyday I am thankful to be here, God is real and he will be taking us home soon.... What a blessing that will be.
I am only 11 but I know what god means to me we had a fun day at school and we could bring our phones someone hurt my feelings that day and I just walked away and listened to this song and it calmed me

i hope that never changes, it's too easy to disconnect and lose sight of God in our busy lives, if you keep praying, you will see that he will give you what you ask for, I have never lost my faith because of that. I've always gotten my answer from the Lord and if not, i waited for something better :) God is good indeed!

Prayers for your grandson.... tell him that his mother is not able to take care of him because she could not cope being a mother and that it is a big responsibility. Tell him that you love him and God loves him.

It's amazing how I've had experiences of some sort of rush inside me all of a sudden: this happened while I was praying once. I'm so fortunate to have had these experiences: it may as well strengthen my dwindling faith. The least faithful sometimes become the most blessed.

Many years ago He gave me a picture of him sitting on a wrought iron settee talking to another young man under a few trees on a sunny day. Then the Lord told me, "He (my son) is telling other young man about Me." And that promise is what I hold onto now. No , never give up praying and blessing your love ones. I’ve been struggling with my faith for a while now. Was raised baptist, went to youth group, Christian summer camp (where I first heard this song), but struggled with a lot of things. Initially it was the hypocrisy of some of those within my church. I left the church, kind of flip flopped, made so many attempts to come back. It’s just that I struggled with the horrible things that some people who claim to be Christian do in the name of Christ. I want the relationship with God, but how can I believe in a God who lets awful things happen? Believe it or not, what brought me here was the passing of Norm Macdonald. I was honestly gutted. I grew up watching him on SNL. He was, and will probably always be, my favourite comedian. After he died I was surfing TH-cam for his content and to hopefully smile through such a loss. Among the videos of Weekend Update and old stand up bits were a few moving interviews regarding his spirituality. Like me, he seemed to have struggled with his faith but in the end, seemed to have made peace with it and had, from my understanding, found God. I felt drawn to his words, found them comforting. And out of the blue, this song popped in my head, singing it at that summer camp mess hall as a teenager, just the worship leader and his guitar and us joining him. It was nagging at me, until just now I listened to it on repeat for about twenty minutes or so. I feel guilty that Norm’s death is what it took, but here I am. Sorry for the rambling post but I needed to get this off my chest.
@Bobby better thanks! Not 100% but I do feel like my faith in God is strengthening. I think I have a way to go. I’m still horrified by some of the practices of people who do injustice in the name of God, but I try to separate that. We are human. One of Norm’s quotes in an interview (to paraphrase) is that one of what he drew from Christianity is that it’s a faith where we are both wretched and divine, and that he thought it was a more accurate representation of what people are like. Long story short, I’m in a better place than I was even 4 months ago, so that’s a start!
People always fail. But the Lord never does. We love Him for not giving up on us, for being patient, forgiving and merciful to us, but we forget He does the same for others, when they fall, fail, & hurt us. It has to hurt Him so much more! Yet He remains faithful, true to us. He has many children who don't represent Him well, but it's not His fault. Don't blame Him for how His people fail, it's between them, and Him. Just hold to Him, His word, His ways. Keep a close relationship with Him, and your eyes on Him, nothing else. It's His love, His help that will get you through this life and safely to the next one.
I will pray that you will be helped by God, through your pain. Church hurt happened to me with manipulation. I can tell from experience: it can be a period where you can lose faith easily. But the key of it is to still read the Bible, cry out to God and talk with people you trust. Don't throw away the baby with the bathwater please. God is so precious! Be blessed ♡

Given that we as a globe are going through a pandemic, I am so blessed to know that I have my Jesus who died for my sins and who loves me no matter what! @@timothyrday1390 I guess it's hard to explain. I do think the way this is being sung is way too slow. Also, there wasn't so much talking. We just started singing in a more melodic way with a lot more lyrics. Congregational singing used to bring so much joy and just plain good fun in the Lord. Songs now seem so sad and made for altos and tenors. Often, I think the songs are too 'low and slow.'

Many years ago He gave me a picture of him sitting on a wrought iron settee talking to another young man under a few trees on a sunny day. Then the Lord told me, "He (my son) is telling other young man about Me." And that promise is what I hold onto now. No , never give up praying and blessing your love ones. I’ve been struggling with my faith for a while now. Was raised baptist, went to youth group, Christian summer camp (where I first heard this song), but struggled with a lot of things. Initially it was the hypocrisy of some of those within my church. I left the church, kind of flip flopped, made so many attempts to come back. It’s just that I struggled with the horrible things that some people who claim to be Christian do in the name of Christ. I want the relationship with God, but how can I believe in a God who lets awful things happen?
Believe it or not, what brought me here was the passing of Norm Macdonald. I was honestly gutted. I grew up watching him on SNL. He was, and will probably always be, my favourite comedian. After he died I was surfing TH-cam for his content and to hopefully smile through such a loss. Among the videos of Weekend Update and old stand up bits were a few moving interviews regarding his spirituality. Like me, he seemed to have struggled with his faith but in the end, seemed to have made peace with it and had, from my understanding, found God. I felt drawn to his words, found them comforting. And out of the blue, this song popped in my head, singing it at that summer camp mess hall as a teenager, just the worship leader and his guitar and us joining him. It was nagging at me, until just now I listened to it on repeat for about twenty minutes or so. I feel guilty that Norm’s death is what it took, but here I am. Sorry for the rambling post but I needed to get this off my chest.
@Bobby better thanks! Not 100% but I do feel like my faith in God is strengthening. I think I have a way to go. I’m still horrified by some of the practices of people who do injustice in the name of God, but I try to separate that. We are human. One of Norm’s quotes in an interview (to paraphrase) is that one of what he drew from Christianity is that it’s a faith where we are both wretched and divine, and that he thought it was a more accurate representation of what people are like. Long story short, I’m in a better place than I was even 4 months ago, so that’s a start!

People always fail. But the Lord never does. We love Him for not giving up on us, for being patient, forgiving and merciful to us, but we forget He does the same for others, when they fall, fail, & hurt us. It has to hurt Him so much more! Yet He remains faithful, true to us. He has many children who don't represent Him well, but it's not His fault. Don't blame Him for how His people fail, it's between them, and Him. Just hold to Him, His word, His ways. Keep a close relationship with Him, and your eyes on Him, nothing else.
It's His love, His help that will get you through this life and safely to the next one.

I will pray that you will be helped by God, through your pain. Church hurt happened to me with manipulation. I can tell from experience: it can be a period where you can lose faith easily. But the key of it is to still read the Bible, cry out to God and talk with people you trust. Don't throw away the baby with the bathwater please. God is so precious! Be blessed ♡

@@timothyrday1390 I guess it's hard to explain. I do think the way this is being sung is way too slow. Also, there wasn't so much talking. We just started singing in a more melodic way with a lot more lyrics. Congregational singing used to bring so much joy and just plain good fun in the Lord. Songs now seem so sad and made for altos and tenors. Often, I think the songs are too 'low and slow.'
