I’ve been following Matt since he started drumming and know him personally and I can say he would be proud to know you covered his song. This was flawless my man. TH-cam is full of 10 years old Japanese girls playing drums (and very badly) and they get millions of views. And real professional playing and real talent like this is underrated. In one case I had an argument in TH-cam because I could see that the part of the 10 years old japanese girl was clearly edited (some hits corrected and sample replaced) and the "fans" insulted me. The world is upside down.

You're killing it! How high do you sit because I can't get comfortable with my feet. Granted, I have a e kit and it's the not the best quality so... dude I just want to be talented like you
I also found that the frame of an electric kit doesn't allow you to put the kit higher than a certain point. Granted you don't technically need a higher chair height to play double pedal; I've seen Gavin Harrison play really smooth double kick stuff and he plays quite low compared to Wilfred and Greiner.
I did find, however, that playing double is easier if you sit further away from the kit so that your legs aren't perpendicular / going straight down onto the kick pedals, but rather they are positioned at a slight angle towards your kick pedals. This helps with getting that more smooth reflex of your ankle rather than putting your whole leg into the fast kick pedal stuff.
But hey, I don't really know if you play metal or how experienced with it haha so I won't start blabbing about technique and stuff. But I hope this helps a bit. I also play electric so I've also tried to get the kit higher (unsuccessfully) :P

Dude this amazing! I loved every second of this. What’s your tip for getting better at double pedals? Any routines on how to get faster?
Hey man, I'm not Wilfred the legend, but I practiced a lot of Greiner's stuff and something that helped me was making my chair and kit a bit higher (as far as my electric kit could allow me at least) and then moved my chair back a bit more so my legs weren't going straight down onto the kick pedals, but rather at a slight angle so that my ankles could reflex better and use the momentum of the kick beater coming back from a hit to keep the pedals going at a smooth rate.
I practiced playing Mariana's Trench because it has 2 sections in there where he plays consecutive bars of fast kick stuff and it helped me get better at it while also enjoying playing to the song :)
I found that you should use your ankle strength to keep the kicks going and not your leg movement, otherwise you won't get to use the momentum of the kick pedals and you won't have the speed to keep them going fast either. I also found that making your kick pedal tension slightly higher so that it pulls back at you more after each hit helps to further make use of the momentum that they generate. It just involves using quick ankle movement instead of force.
The pedals just need to tap the skin hard enough and then come back for the next hit. Your thighs should also be quite tense so that your ankles can get that reflex motion going a bit better. This might take some time to develop (if you haven't been playing doubles for long, which I don't know in your case) because it takes some core strength to keep yourself upright and consistent; your left leg can make your core muscles tense up.
Sorry if this is long and hard to visualize; it would be much easier with a video lol :P But I hope you can see what I'm trying to say.
