Yea we should be all going to plan, once we get the track stuff dialled in we’ll be hooking the trailer up and making sure everything’s still happy. We might have to add cruise control and air con this year though 😁
Which sealant do you use on the gasket? Permatex aviation sealant is supposed to be one of the best. thats also what steve moris uses on his Copper HG engines and eric in his k24.
@@autoperfectionk24 its not the greatest using setting silicone becasue the movment and exspantion of head with heat and copper can cause leaks. aviation sealant dosnt

Love that 4p added a bleed screw for the head. Stock ones are a nightmare to bleed.
With the “drydeck” on the head it’s going to make bleeding even harder, I’ll make sure I don’t do it in the future 😅

Yes, we have been using threebond

Working on cars with bad paint jobs is soo good, especially when most of the time the hood is on the roof while we play with the engine 😂

I'm not sure if it would work in your case but jacking the nose of the car up and slow filling prevented air locks in my old motor.
I think it would work because the bleeder is at the front of the head, I’ll try it out!

If you take a turbocharged car to the drag you end up under the bonnet more then behind the wheel fixing unreliable stuff 😂
If you're not pushing coolant you're not trying hard enough.
If the little 2.4 litre engine didn’t have a turbocharger it wouldn’t be very exciting at a drag strip 😂
