Now this is stuff that needs to be taught in army basic training. Throw in doug training dirty dad humor and we'll have an army of Doug clones for the next war. 🤘
Great info; applied it to my sprint work out this morning! Would have liked to have seen a little more demo of the movements though; I bet Doug can really thrust those hips -no homo... Gave it a thumbs up!
I usually cringe at these average (SPECOP HIGHSPEED SOCOM GREEN BERET PREP TRAINING) with some dude with full gucci gear explaining me how to do normal push pull and leg exercises so I'm kinda relived to see this great channel sum up basicially most of the stuff you need to prepare for in the military without any unessecary military whitewashing or whatever
I've been running with forefoot strike for as long as I can remember. Now that I've been trying to go longer distances I'm nothing pain in my heels, and up toward my calf. What would you suggest? I'm looking at finding someone to train me in mid foot to mix things up. Would this be a good strategy?

An army that will be defeated by a giant vanity mirror.
@@SOFLETE could be worse, imagine saying your army was defeated by Emu. 🇦🇺

I love how you all joke around as well. Getting that Kim K joke in and just little jabs is just great.
His Boston accent is so heavy I thought he was British at first
Dude, same lmao

This is super helpful. I am totally guilty of my run warmup being.....running. Everything is this video is great. Except the Sox hat, that part sucks.
The laugh at 2:50 is everything. Reminiscent of the Creepy uncle/ disgruntled first sergeant.
Thank you for sharing these tips!
Would love to hear expert thoughts on shin splints!!
LK it’s coming!

Great vid. Keep em coming.
Can you guys cover shin splints?
This would actually be very helpful. I hope they do a video on shin splints.
That will be covered in this series!

I used to get those bad until I switched to some zero drop shoes (altra torin 3) Good luck!
SOFLETE awesome thank you!
"Sawrness" and "bawdy"...LOL !!!
Never warmed up the glutes and that’s probably my weakest muscle since I don’t ever try to work it out
Two questions: any advice for pain in posterior tibilas area. What is the proper way to run? Heel strike, what is the most efficient way to run?
Soflete: any chance we could get a an additional running program/module ?
