- Doug gets an overdue visit from Physical Therapist Theo Ballard to learn the difference between muscles and tendons, and why they have different names. Spoiler alert: they're different. In this series, Theo describes how to listen to your pain to figure out how to correct bad practices to make you more durable for life.

You men have no idea how valuable this is.
Excellent video. I tore my Achilles tendon 1.5 weeks ago, it got stitched a week ago, now doing research. I was actually just looking for when and how to strenghten my tendons. Never occured to me that nutrition is so important. Thanks again!
I have had tendon problems a lot and went out halfway through this video to buy some collagen
Do tendons differ in the body from the response to stress perspective ?! and what u suggest for shoulder RC tendons strengthening and for the bicipital tendon as well
More Theo knowledge please. I could pick his brain all day🤙🏽♠️
I just strained my knee, during a sprinting workout, in the same location he pointed to.
Please next time can you point the camera at the location the PT points at on his leg or point the camera at his leg when he did isometrics.
COVID-19 targets tendons, so be sure to to shave your beards like Doug
Doug must've had a MUTA to attend
Hm, and now I have to eat jello. Love this content. There’s always muscle and workout videos but I’d love to hear more about ligaments and tendons.
What about chronic problems like tendonosis?

I’ve really been using time under tension during my leg days and I’ve noticed I’ve gotten less sore after rucks and runs. No I have to go out and buy some Jell-O!
Looking for peer reviewed studies that support eating collagen to support or repair tendons
