By adding a slip-on exhaust, don't you have to recalibrate your engine with a tuner? Do you see a difference in power/ acceleration with the slip-on? Thank you!
The guys at Wings state that if you keep the silencer on you don't need to remap or use an engine tuner. I was concerned with this at the beginning but all seems fine. There is a small difference on the low end. The throttle fills a bit more snappy but I think this is more of a placebo filing let's say. All because of the sound. Before the slippon the bike sounded like a moped and this killed a bit of the experience. The biggest advantages for changing the exhaust I would say it's the exhaust temperature. I can put sidebags without a problem now. Previously I melted some old sidebags because the exhaust was insanely hot. There are also some minor pop-ing sounds when decelerating but this is normal. Those are also present with the stock exhaust, but because it's more muffled you don't hear them as pronounced.
Well, the sound is much better, and it looks much smaller then the bulky stock one. So : 👍👍 Don't you consider a windshield to get some wind of your chest on long rides ?
The sound is indeed much better and not to mention that now I can use the Kriega OS side bags without any heat shield on the slipon. Regarding the windshield...everyone is telling me to add one. The thing is, that I don't like the looks of this bike with a windshield. I know it's a pain for long trips but I am planning to improvise a removable one in the future
The bike was new when installing the exhaust and didn't want to run it without db killer. Will need to do a follow up video with a test without the db killer
I am used to using the clutch and forget about it. :D Also I am not really confident that the quick shift is not adding a bit more stress on the gearbox than when using the clutch.
Ah yes farbon cibre, my favourite material 😂
Great info ...thanks. The real life sound test are great...no other channel has that !!

Hello,
Nice vídeo.
Do you recomend buy the silent kit to drive in Spain?
Great video, the sound of the wings is nice and not too loud. Which dB silencer did you use, the bigger one or the smaller one? Thanks
It's the smaller one which is louder.
You should write with or without quiet insert in the title.

good video thanks, quick question, how tall are you?
Thanks, I am 182 cm
Can you tell me what is the rpm at 100 or 120 kmph ?

Any oil leak so far ?
So far no. Didn't really had any major problems with the bike so far. I've put about 6000 km on it and all is good.
Where does the oil leak? Do you know if this was resolved on the 2022 models?? I really hope so since I just picked one up ..
Where's the sound test without db killer.

Quick shift it! Why you dont use it? 😪

@@MotoCerbii it doesnt. Dont worry about the clutch.
Why does anyone think it is interesting to watch you open a cardboard box. Please, stop the nonsense. I see an “unboxing” and I click out.
