Pavarotti never seen before taping O del mio amato ben

Outtake of Luciano Pavarotti taping O del mio amato ben by Stefano Donaudy accompanied by Leone Magiera on piano in Modena, Italy, 1987. I was studying at the time with his teacher Arrigo Pola and got to spend some time with the great tenor. I have had these outtakes for 30 years but was never sure if I should make them public. I do so because they are fun and show how Luciano was simply marvelous.

Even with troubled voice he shows how tenor must go on top.
A bunch of baries like corellies, monacos, stefanos have never goes on top clearly

I too prefer Bergonzis performance which was historic of the school of Gigli, a lost art and approach. Pavarotti
a fine singer of his generation did not continue that legacy. His performance is fine but not of that historic
calibre.

I prefer Carlo Bergonzi's performance.
