Since the Romans sacked the city and destroyed most of its libraries and archives, there is hardly anything left of the Carthaginian people. And hence this has made Carthage more of a Roman ruin rather than Carthaginian ruins. In fact the ticket mentions the same. And about Sidi Bou Said, definitely it is older than Santorini. But the colour combination reminds us of that place, and is often described so by many people around the world. That's why mentioned it. Sidi Bou Said is anyways so pretty, and can't do justice to any amount of words used to describe it.
