Welcome guys to Tunisia! But just to rectify some couples things. Carthage is way older than Rome, yes it’s been part of Roman Empire but after the 2nd Punic war. For Sidi Bousaid 1927 also older than Santorini 1964 and we never call it Santorini.

Thank you for watching our videos.
From our research about Carthage, we found it was the most powerful trading and commercial city in the Mediterranean during 650 B.C. to 146 B.C. But some 2,000 years ago, Carthage was razed to the ground by its rival, the Roman Republic. Carthaginians were murdered or sold into slavery, and the Romans built a new Carthage on the ruins.
Since the Romans sacked the city and destroyed most of its libraries and archives, there is hardly anything left of the Carthaginian people.
And hence this has made Carthage more of a Roman ruin rather than Carthaginian ruins. In fact the ticket mentions the same.
And about Sidi Bou Said, definitely it is older than Santorini.
But the colour combination reminds us of that place, and is often described so by many people around the world. That's why mentioned it.
Sidi Bou Said is anyways so pretty, and can't do justice to any amount of words used to describe it.

Great video!! It's interesting to see how Carthage is being revived now since Roman invasion has practically destroyed the once prospering city and left us to see just the Roman ruins.
Loved Sidi Bou Said- it's quite an interesting area..

@CARTHAGETUNISIAHANNIBAL Bro, what are you talking about? What are Carthage's clothing and food? You're confusing barbarians and Carthaginians. Did Carthaginians wear sfseri and chechia, according to you? WTF! The barbarian civilization is not similar to Carthage at all! Not because today they belong to the same country. Back in time, there was no concept of a country; it was an empire. Barbarians are not Carthaginians at all, bro. Carthage was on the coastal side only. As for the architecture, it's the same as Rome - similar ruins. You can't say it's Carthaginian because these are the same ruins everywhere the Romans had their empire, which covered half of the world. Really, bro? Do you think Carthaginians wore sfseri and chechia and ate lablabi and couscous? LOL.
