As we count our blessings to give thanks, let’s not forget the blessing to be able to understand more, grow in compassion and to find humility through our faiths.. Amen
If Mohammed, Jesus, and Abraham were all in the same room at one time, I have no doubt they would be saying the same thing is these three religious stooges. All three believe in one God and all three believe in the goodness of humanity; I see no reason why we can't do it together.
The holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW/Peace be upon him), Prophet Jesus (AS/Peace be upon him), and Prophet Abraham (AS/Peace be upon him) are all Muslims and they have the same religion and worship the same Allah. They would be speaking the truth, pure truth.
+Hannah Ensly If Mohammed, Jesus and Abraham were all in the same room at one time. Muhammed and Abraham will BOW DOWN and WORSHIP the Lord and Savior of Mankind JESUS CHRIST. We already know because it was already revealed in the 1st century. The other TITLE for JESUS is the "Lamb of God". Let us read, REVELATION 5:12I In a loud voice they were saying: “Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!” 13 Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying: “To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!” 14 The four living creatures said, “Amen,” and the elders fell down and worshiped. Apostle John who received the REVELATION already let us FORESAW the FUTURE. That JESUS is worthy to be WORSHIP.
There should be more of these types of talks. It’s inspiring and allows people to see we have a choice on our path to God. This brings comfort to my heart. ❤️
dear holy friends - your loving and powerful message grows ever more polished and radiant. I am SO impressed that you are able to offer it now in only 10 minutes! i'll share it widely. much love, christy
I wish all people would unite and sing together in love. These spiritual leaders are the example for the 21st century. I love their message of unity and peace and respect and love!
One step for each religion, a vast leap toward our true divine light for all mankind. Deeply grateful for these three global leaders today. Profoundly moving. Profoundly vital.
Awesome. One book I love, The Life of Pi, is centered around a child who goes to each of these temples, practicing each of them (albeit in secret from each other). when the leaders find this out, they flip out on the kid, and kick him out. Discussions like this and noticing the interwoven relationship of these monotheistic Abrahamic religions is so fascinating and important.
Dear Amigos - the work that you are doing is amazing and inspiring, we especially enjoyed the song! It made our day and all the future days to have seen this video, which is so close to the work we are doing. Please accept our gratitude and the best of wishes for all your future activities - from Turkish-Irish Educational and Cultural Society
King James Bible Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.(his word) Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. Jesus said it himself, why then seek other ways to bring peace in his name repent. 2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? I wonder how many of these views come from DU honors college applicants. Anyways I am so happy that I was brought here. I am a proud member of my school's Muslim Student Association and have found that a true believer in any one of these religions would find that there are more similarities between the religions than one might think.
As a christian we need more interfaith dialogue. While the three Abrahamic faiths may not agree on everything, that should not stop us from continuing Gods covenant. We all come from the same Creator. We shouldn’t attack and condemn each other, that will get us nowhere
YES, fantastic effort! And yes! we have to consider the fact/possibility that it is politics confusing religion and the religious. In either case, the interfaith voice is welcome news. IMHO.
That was the most BEAUTIFUL song and GLORIOUS talk. Thank you for blessing everyone with your teachings. Love & Light!! Kadoish, Kadoish, Kadoish, Adonai' Ts'voat M'lo Khol Ha'aretz K'vodo
The Interfaith Amigos have been an inspiration to me in developing Sacred & Secular, a interfaith, multicultural music collective. They're great role models. Shawn R., Mo-Mutt Music
I love this soo much. That right there is what i want to be. I'm a muslim yes, but just as anything i want to be a good human being. In there way I use comedic ways to express that. As long as I believe in god and know whats right and wrong then im good
+nasif I am Catholic and I love these three men. They show exactly what these three religions are all about. I hope that jews, christians, and muslims will embrace eachother and make this world again a reflection of God's beauty and love. Amen :-)
+Yato The MUSLIM guy DOES NOT follow the QURAN. It says here: QURAN 98:6 Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture (JEWS and CHRISTIANS) and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures. WHAT WE LEARN TODAY KIDS? The JEWS and CHRISTIANS 1. will be in the fire of Hell 2. worst of creatures See how LOVING allah is kids....enjoy your TAQIYYA
abukid 2:62 "Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve." there. easy refutation.
+Sir Mayhonnaise Moose MORE OF A CONTRADICTION Let us examine: In Quran 98:6, it says, "Indeed, they who disbelieved". QUESTION: 1. Disbelieved to "WHAT" 2. Disbelieved to "WHO" In Quran 2:62, it says, ""Indeed, those who believed" QUESTION: 1. Believed to "WHAT" 2. Believed to "WHO" As you can see, you have TWO GROUPS of Jews, Christians and Sabeans. How do YOU as a Muslims DISTINGUISHED the two groups? If you read ISLAMIC HISTORY. They've been killing all groups. Just research the POPULATION history of Muslim countries with Jews, Christians and Sabeans. Read how Zoroastrinians had to run and hide in India because of PERSECUTION. Read how Yazidis were treated in Muslim countries. Just observe how different ISLAMIC sects treat each other. You don't need to put the Jews, Christians and Sabeans in the EQUATION. If Islamic sects treat each other like SHIT. What more with the Jews, Christians and Sabeans. They are considered the LOWEST of the LOW. As the Quran says, "WORST of CREATURES"
It is so amazing. You can learn about faith and love with another culture. The problem definitly is how the man interpret the religion and god, not the religion itself.
While the way they treat one another is truly remarkable, both the Muslim and Christian men seem to outright reject a core tenet of their faith in becoming so ecumenical. To the Christian, truly, the only way IS through Jesus- even if one outside of the faith is saved, it is through the Messiah.
This is a great collaboration. The context of Jesus´ legacy in University-based philosophical scholarship is the true basis of Civil Rights and United Nations human rights. And that´s an interfaith understanding of love and tolerance. Just as well that it´s not emphasized in these contexts.
Jesus sought to teach the Shariah enforcers of those days (Law of Moses) to look at the intentions of the law (moral/ethics) rather than the literal legal letter of the law (flexibility in rituals/law as per Thomas's gospel). James 1:25 celebrates it as the "law that gives freedom" - that's the "good news" that Jesus brought to the ppl of Israel (who are then to spread the word). Matthew 23:23 "How terrible for you, teachers of the Law and Pharisees! You hypocrites! You give to God one tenth of mint, dill & cumin, but you neglect to obey the really important teachings of the Law, such as justice, mercy & honesty. These you should practice, without neglecting the others." Jesus got executed like a terrorist for challenging the political/religious/govt authority (punishment for blasphemy is stoning). The Pharisees(Sharia-enforcers) were unfaithful to the Law to the extent that they disregarded the purpose of the Law - their sin was prioritising trivial legalities over humanity. Quran says to seek out the Torah and gospel that Jesus preached (incl.lost gospels). Second coming of Jesus in Islam is the application of Jesus's teachings to Islam, which was exactly what Jesus came to teach the Jews with the Moses Law. Which would lead to a reformation of both Judaism and Islam. Jesus said he was sent to preach "solely to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" becoz he was preaching for unity among the Jews - love your neighbor, love your enemies ie. don't fight among yourselves - so that the Jews can unite against Roman occupation of Israel, in order to re-establish the Kingdom of God in Israel. If they had not hidden the other gospels, Christianity would not have been a whole new religion. In fact, the Jews, Christians and Muslims from different languages would have been one in the family of God, as there's only ever one faith in God. Gen 22:18 - God promised Abraham that all nations on earth will be blessed through his offspring. Satan plays tricks to divide God's family!
Heart warming; Fundamental problem with some adherents of the monotheistic traditions is the misinterpretation of the ideology of ONE divinity as one WAY to serve & worship that divinity. Deeper study of the scriptures will reveal this error as prevailing sentiment evolves from tolerance to ACCEPTANCE.
It's all warm and fuzzy but all three religion have very distinct views on God,humanity and their interaction I suspect the pastor and the rabbi fundamentally misunderstand what their Muslim friend mean by calling them perfect Muslims In fact i hope they know it's entirely wrong but indulge him in the name of the "interfaith dialog" And while the rabbi makes a bold almost Buddhist assertion that all paths are leading same way, the pastor has to forget John 14:6 "no one comes to Father except through me"
George Kushner can you please explain more to your statement," In fact i hope they know it's entirely wrong but indulge him in the name of the "interfaith dialog"
@@mikejohnson2173 yes, sure, I mean that understanding of God as a personal divinity being in personal relation with the individual is entirely alien to Islam. "Allah" is much closer to the impersonal Godhead of Hinduist traditions than to the Judeo-Christian undestanding. For instance "Allah" is emphatically not God of Love. Muslims see God as an entirely transcendental source of being, not accessible to finite humans in a sort of personal dialogue as in Psalms/Gospels etc.
The interfaith dialogue is very important to each other to show their kindness but only in this universe,, but in a truths way of life of faith is to correct social justice and a correct faith..... Who's made correct social justice and faith? Islam is the correction of all incorrect... Islam is the religion of mankind...
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6 Homophobia? Romans 1:26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is [g]unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing [h]indecent acts and receiving in [i]their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit [j]to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29
SRFrediscovered PYislove Are you talking about John 14:10 (that Jesus is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus)? or Romans 1:10 (Paul telling the Roman church to pray for an opportunity to open up, so Paul could go visit them)? Neither of them negate that Jesus is the only way to the Father and that homosexuality is a transgression of the Law. It changes nothing. o_O; The bible is a compilation of scrolls, tablets, and letters; no one thinks (nor should think) that it's "one" book. But there is one way & one savior. Anyone who trusts the compilation of books, from Genesis to Revelation, that have come to be known as "the bible", wouldn't suggest differently.
what about the DHARMIC faiths ? ie buddhism n hinduism. the simple difference that most people dont realise about the abrhamic n dharmic faiths is that one is a servant of god n the religions on india which believes that god or energy is in al of us . hence why the dharmic faiths were never spread through the sword.
I appreciate and admire the well meaning efforts to establish inter-faith dialogue. In terms of its positive contribution there is little to show except a feel good exercise. The assumption behind the dialogue is that current problems between three Abrahamic religions flow from the religious differences in their divine scriptures. Unfortunately that assumption is not true. Todays problems are basically political not religious. Muslims and Jews have lived over thirteen century in harmony and mutual understanding. Jews scholars, intellectuals and politicians held important positions in Muslim dominated countries. Yes, there have been problems between Christianity on one hand and and Muslim and Jews on the other hand but even those difficulties were political in nature. Therefor, let us have an honest and unconditional political dialogue to solve todays political problems known to all of us. Let us not try to dominate each other, steal each others resources and land and be just with each other. Easy said then done.
We are to love one other We are to treat each other as we our selves would prefer to be treated. But there’s only one way to the father and It’s through Jesus Christ. One way to life ...& it’s through Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is the only one who saves not interfaith
But interfaith and listening to our worldwide brothers and sisters is a good place to start. Have you read the book by Catholic author. Duffner. Her book (from a Catholic perspective) is quite fascinating -'Finding JESUS among Muslims'. I
The rabbi misquotes the passage from MIcah. It doesn't say, "To walk with integrity." It reads, "To walk humbly with your God." The only way this type of "all faiths are the same thing" conclusion works is to remove the truth of your faith, and to remove God. Thus in the end, you end up with happy platitudes that makes people smile and wish that "everyone could get this." Sadly, there's NOTHING there to get. These men have all removed the essence of their religions.
Do you have a Christian neighbor? Even if you "like" your neighbor, try to resist the tendency to think all Christians are like him. Do you have a Muslim neighbor? Even if you "like" your neighbor, try to resist the tendency to think all Muslims are like him. Can we please quit with the assumption that people are "followers" of a religion? Religion is the sum of those beliefs, practices and prohibitions that pertain to a perspon's concept of the highest powers of the universe. Which is another way of saying that, ultimately, all religion is personal - not institutional. Yes, there have been people whose beliefs and practices were sufficiently similar that they created organizations to promote one or another aspects of their belief systems. And yes, those organizations have been given names. But it doesn't necessarily follow that a member of a group or a member of an organization thinks and acts exactly like every other member. When someone decides that everyone in the group MUST think or act alike, doctrine becomes dogma and it is all downhill from there!
Take the teachings of the old testament and the new testament, the whole Bible out of the equation, that Only Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, The Life and that no one can come to the Father except through JESUS only!!! Not Buddha, not Mohamed, not Mary, Brahma, no other Name has been given by which men can be saved from hellAnd yes you have a One world religion!!! What a great deception!!
I love every one as God loves me. Show compassion to your brother and sisters, but don't be complacent as to dam your soul for the world, family, Religion, wife ,father. COME OUT OF BABYLON BEFORE IT'S TO LATE.
very good video, i certainly love this video, carry on it It’s onerous to search out educated people on this matter, however you sound like you realize what you’re speaking about! Thanks You must participate in a contest for the most effective video on theyoutube. Ill recommend this youtube videol!
I seek to more rational and merciful language in Islamic heritage there’s who exploiting threat verses and then get out of good Religion and maybe all Religion Sultan albogami Bachelor of the religions Umm alqura university
This.... just isn't correct. This is universalism. It sounds good if you're some moderate utopianist, but it's hardly logical to try and reconcile exclusive claims to truth....
Hannah Ensly Goodness of humanity? On the contrary... • Moses says, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." - Genesis 6:5 (KJV); • Jesus says, "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." - Luke 18:19 (KJV); • The apostle Paul says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" - Romans 3:10 (KJV); • and King David said, "They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." - Psalms 14:3 (KJV) Don't be deceived. No one in the bible believes in the goodness of humanity, only in the goodness of God, the creator-which we are not. Ergo, not compatible with religions who say we are the Creator. Don't let interfaith movements deceive you and blind you to the details. The details are what matter.
Heather Hoopes Then, friend, you did not understand my point. Moses, Jesus, King David and apostle Paul are highly important parts of the religion. Thus making Christianity incompatible with others faiths. Interfaith is not possible when the religions are teaching the direct opposite of the other (i.e. that man IS inherently good VS. the bible saying man is NOT good, but inherently bad and born sinful). So, actually, yes...those four quotes do make my point.Hannah Ensly said Jesus believed in "the goodness of humanity". She has no basis for putting such words in Jesus' and Abraham's mouth, when the scriptures are teaching the opposite of her allegation-from Jesus own mouth no less! He's the one who said no one but God is good!
I understand your point, I just don't understand why believing something so wildly different than other person makes it impossible to work with them and even be their friend. That's what working toward interfaith relations is. We are different, yet we can see the beauty in one another and work together.
Heather Hoopes Impossible? No. But it is prohibited. When we come into covenant with YHWH, we essentially enter a marriage contract (or "ketubah" in Hebrew) and in it, amongst other things, we promise to worship him only. By venerating other spirits-even indirectly, by working on spiritual things with the people who worship other spirits-we're becoming one with them and their spirits, thus violating our covenant promise to YHWH. Can we express acts of kindness towards unbelievers? Sure. Can we watch out for their well-being? Yes. Can we be a truthful witness on their behalf (in case we go to court)? Of course. But we cannot "work together" on a project, or pray/worship together-their very worship practices (and how they carry out their lives) violates YHWH's commands. And they deny the truth about our Messiah. This is about disrespecting the one we worship and making us disrespect him in the process by yoking ourselves to them. There are a number of instructions that prohibit what today is called "interfaith". To name two, one from each Testament: ◘ Old Testament _Exodus __23:32__-33 (NIV)_ 32 *Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.* 33 _Do not let them live in your land or_ *they will cause you to sin against me,* *because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”* ◘ New Testament _2 Corinthians __6:14__ (NIV)_ 14 *Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.* _For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?_ _Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?_ Had they been believers, they would submit to his commands. His commands are what make him "holy" (literally means "set-apart", distinct from what the other nations worship). And he tells us to be holy too: • _1 Peter __1:15__-16 (NIV)_ 15 _But just as he who called you is holy,_ _so be holy in all you do;_ 16 _for it is written:_ _“Be holy,_ _because I am holy.”[a]_ _Footnotes:_ a. 1 Peter 1:16 Lev. 11:44,45; 19:2 • _Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)_ 12 _Therefore,_ _I urge you,_ _brothers and sisters,_ _in view of God’s mercy,_ _to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,_ _holy and pleasing to God_ - _this is your true and proper worship._ 2 _Do not conform to the pattern of this world,_ _but be transformed by the renewing of your mind._ _Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is_ - _his good,_ _pleasing and perfect will._ We're not suppose to be like the world in any respect, let alone in worship. Worshiping alongside them suggests they're standing in legitimate truth. And according to YHWH, they're not. We worship the Most High God, Father of all Spirits. It is our belief that everyone else, assuming they're theistic, worships the lesser spirits, not the one who Fathered them (and that's prohibited; we can't even worship angels). • _Revelation 22:8-9 (NIV)_ 8 _I,_ _John,_ _am the one who heard and saw these things._ _And when I had heard and seen them,_ _I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me._ 9 _But he said to me,_ _“Don’t do that!_ _I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll._ _Worship God!”_ If they deny YHWH's earthly incarnation, as Jesus, they're denying the prophets and the gospels too (which is no small matter). Prophets: • _Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)_ 6 _For to us_ *a child is born,* _to us_ *a son is given,* _and the government will be on his shoulders._ _And_ *he will be called* _Wonderful Counselor,_ *Mighty God,* *Everlasting Father,* _Prince of Peace._ • _John 1:1, 14 (NIV)_ 1 _In the beginning was the Word,_ _and the Word was_ *with* _God,_ _and the Word_ *was* _God._ 14 _The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us._ _We have seen his glory,_ _the glory of the one and only Son,_ _who came from the Father,_ _full of grace and truth._ • _Galatians 1:8 (NIV)_ 8 _But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you,_ _let them be under God’s curse!_ The Quran does a horrible job at "preserving" (if you could call it that) his commands nor the gospel. Muhammad outright instructs sexual immorality against YHWH's command, comparing Surah 2:230 to Deuteronomy 24:1-4. • _Surah __2:23__0_ _Sahih International_ _And if he has divorced her [for the third time],_ _then_ *she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him.* *And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies],* *there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other* _if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah._ _These are the limits of Allah,_ _which He makes clear to a people who know._ • _Deuteronomy 24:1-4 (NIV)_ 24 _If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her,_ _and he writes her a certificate of divorce,_ _gives it to her and sends her from his house,_ 2 *and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man,* 3 *and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce,* *gives it to her and sends her from his house,* *or if he dies,* 4 *then her first husband,* *who divorced her,* *is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled.* *That would be detestable in the eyes of the Lord.* _Do not bring sin upon the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance._ YHWH considers it sin. Muhammad says, "it's cool in Allah's view, go ahead". Are you kidding me? He's no prophet of YHWH if he's denying the Law of Moses. He shows no respect to YHWH's sense of righteousness and sexual purity. He's no prophet if he's denying the gospel either: • _Surah __4:15__7_ _Sahih International_ _And [for] their saying,_ _"Indeed,_ _we have killed the Messiah,_ _Jesus,_ _the son of Mary,_ _the messenger of Allah."_ *And they did not kill him,* *nor did they crucify him;* _but [another] was made to resemble him to them._ _And indeed,_ _those who differ over it are in doubt about it._ _They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption._ _And they did not kill him,_ _for certain._ Jesus, on the otherhand, in the biblical gospels, has crucifixion wounds in his hands, after rising from the dead on the third day i.e. John 20:25-29 (thus, is depicted as having been dead, and killed in an excruciating way, contrary to what the Quran alleges, "nah, he didn't die, he wasn't crucified"). Jesus even prophesied about his death, on three separate occassions, prior to it happening: Matthew 16:21; Matthew 17:23; Matthew 20:19 On the flipside, the other religions which are atheistic in nature (no deity), like Buddhism, Jainism, etc... deny YHWH: his existence and his commands. It's an insult to YHWH if we yoke ourselves at the neck with such people (who don't believe he exists). Plus, they call him a liar by suggesting his Word is not true. It is illogical to work together / worship together with people who call our God a liar. That's a slap to his face. They deny his account of creation. They deny his sabbaths. They deny his gospel. They "profane" him (that is, they make him "common", trying to say he's what everyone else worships, and yet no other spirit has those commands: only the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob-and like I said, the Quran does a poor job of preserving the Law that YHWH gave to Moses, let alone the gospels, thus they profane him). So you can imagine he doesn't like it when his own people start profaning him. • _Ezekiel __22:26__ (NIV)_ 26 _Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things;_ _they do not distinguish between the holy and the common;_ _they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean;_ _and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths,_ _so that I am profaned among them._ We're suppose to guard his Holy reputation. He's not like the things/entities other people worship. So we can't yoke ourselves to unbelievers (how would that convey, "we worship differently"? that "YHWH is distinctly different from what you all worship"? It doesn't. Thus it lies about YHWH and his commands). I hope you're seeing just how incompatible and an outright contradiction it is for "interfaith" to happen between any truly biblical religion and the others. Oh, I know there are so-called "adherents" / "believers" of those biblical religions trying to participate in such interfaith activities, but at that point, they no longer are true to the God they claim to worship. They deny his commands which prohibit interfaith activity. In name only do they worship. But in actuality? They're practically making up their own religion because it's not scriptural. • _2 Kings 17:7-8 (NIV)_ 7 _All this took place because_ *the Israelites had sinned against the Lord their God,* _who had brought them up out of Egypt from under the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt._ *They worshiped other gods* 8 *and followed the practices of the nations* _the Lord had driven out before them,_ *as well as the practices that the kings of Israel had introduced.*
I appreciate you sharing with me your views on this. While I don't agree with you on your main point, I certainly understand your stance and all of your clearly laid out evidence. It's clearly something you've researched and thought out. Thanks for taking the time to explain what you meant and I look forward to learning more should we happen to comment on the same videos in the future.
where is Jesus Christ the King of Kings Lord of Lords??? taking a backseat, hasn't He???......the blaspheme of these fools ...when they say "Peace, Peace" , then suddenly Destruction hits...that's what will happen to these adulterous interfaith fools.
These are wise 3 elders, I wish more people become like them.
If everyone could think this way, the world would definitely be a more loving and compassionate place.
Amen!
I think we should only have interfaith so everyone gets along and loves one another.
Oh how my heart needed this I just could never articulated the way these three gentlemen did the Oneness the the interconnectedness is the divine desire for all of us! Thank you to the insightful mist of our Scholars that came together
I Think This Way,and I’m Protestant So It Should Show People That Hate Can Not Defeat Love Cuz Love Is The Best!!😂🤣
This brings tears to my eyes and makes me laugh at the same time. Bravo, sirs! We certainly need more of this today.

I may be atheist but I endorse this.
no one faith has it all right. we all can learn from one another, and we should learn, before it's too late.
Namastè and much appreciation for spreading peace and unconditional love
dear holy friends - your loving and powerful message grows ever more polished and radiant. I am SO impressed that you are able to offer it now in only 10 minutes! i'll share it widely. much love, christy

This is really helping to put in perspective my paper in need to do for my Religion class
As a member of a smaller polytheistic religion, this gives me lots more hope
Love you guys...... God bless you all❤️
The blood we shed is the blood we share
Beautiful and inspiring!
The interfaith dialogue book is worth reading- especially in a group that is willing to discuss and grow outside of its own faith boundaries.
this is the best thing I have seen in days.
Why can’t we have more of this
A bit cheesy, but it is quite beautiful how the song fitted together so well at the end
Peace, love and respect
King James Bible
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.(his word)
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Jesus said it himself, why then seek other ways to bring peace in his name repent.
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

A fresh refreshing idea. More power to you
I wonder how many of these views come from DU honors college applicants. Anyways I am so happy that I was brought here. I am a proud member of my school's Muslim Student Association and have found that a true believer in any one of these religions would find that there are more similarities between the religions than one might think.
Lol. From that comment I can assume that you got in.
There is only piece through forgiveness
This is so incredibly beautiful....
As a christian we need more interfaith dialogue. While the three Abrahamic faiths may not agree on everything, that should not stop us from continuing Gods covenant. We all come from the same Creator. We shouldn’t attack and condemn each other, that will get us nowhere
Wow , this is how it should be from the beginning
YES, fantastic effort!
And yes! we have to consider the fact/possibility that it is politics confusing religion and the religious. In either case, the interfaith voice is welcome news. IMHO.
Beautiful.
This is amazingly wonderful offering hope!
Wow they should be on American Idoles and I have a confidence they will be the chosen ones.
That was the most BEAUTIFUL song and GLORIOUS talk. Thank you for blessing everyone with your teachings. Love & Light!!

Amen :-)
indeed brother
+Yato The MUSLIM guy DOES NOT follow the QURAN. It says here:
QURAN 98:6 Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture (JEWS and CHRISTIANS) and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
WHAT WE LEARN TODAY KIDS?
The JEWS and CHRISTIANS
1. will be in the fire of Hell
2. worst of creatures
See how LOVING allah is kids....enjoy your TAQIYYA
abukid
2:62
"Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans [before Prophet Muhammad] - those [among them] who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve."
there. easy refutation.
+Sir Mayhonnaise Moose MORE OF A CONTRADICTION
Let us examine:
In Quran 98:6, it says, "Indeed, they who disbelieved".
QUESTION:
1. Disbelieved to "WHAT"
2. Disbelieved to "WHO"
In Quran 2:62, it says, ""Indeed, those who believed"
QUESTION:
1. Believed to "WHAT"
2. Believed to "WHO"
As you can see, you have TWO GROUPS of Jews, Christians and Sabeans.
I like the song they sing at the end, too. Shawn R., Mo-Mutt Music
I really enjoyed the video, especially the song :-)
It gives hope even to an agnostic.
Very nice. Thank you for this.
Whats so wrong with a cheese sandwich

Allah, Jehovah, or God: The Supreme leader
Beautiful World Jesus Christ is a man, a Prophet.
Allah means Gof in Arabian.

Thank and I love you all.
It is possible to think that way, if we want to and do not let your religious EGO stop you.
It's all warm and fuzzy but all three religion have very distinct views on God,humanity and their interaction
I suspect the pastor and the rabbi fundamentally misunderstand what their Muslim friend mean by calling them perfect Muslims
In fact i hope they know it's entirely wrong but indulge him in the name of the "interfaith dialog"
And while the rabbi makes a bold almost Buddhist assertion that all paths are leading same way, the pastor has to forget John 14:6 "no one comes to Father except through me"
George Kushner can you please explain more to your statement,"
In fact i hope they know it's entirely wrong but indulge him in the name of the "interfaith dialog"
GK my friend wrote a response to youe post one year ago. The Ted Talk-the 3 amigos. Did you respond?
John 14:6

28 And just as they did not see fit [j]to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29

***** you forgot to include Verse 10, it changes everything!
There never was only one way, one savior, or one true book.
*****
john 14:10 >>>stop guessing and llook it up.
I _did_ look it up. That's why I said, "it changes nothing".
what about the DHARMIC faiths ? ie buddhism n hinduism. the simple difference that most people dont realise about the abrhamic n dharmic faiths is that one is a servant of god n the religions on india which believes that god or energy is in al of us . hence why the dharmic faiths were never spread through the sword.

This is Great
I appreciate and admire the well meaning efforts to establish inter-faith dialogue.
We are to love one other
We are to treat each other as we our selves would prefer to be treated.
Duffner. Her book (from a
Catholic perspective) is quite fascinating -'Finding JESUS among Muslims'. I
Hello Nimrod. My friend John wrote you a year ago. Did you get a chance to look at the book I recommended for you?
I absolutely love this! When the three agree about something, it sure is from God
This is insulting to the three amigos
I mentioned this is priest-craft
Take the teachings of the old testament and the new testament, the whole Bible out of the equation, that Only Jesus Christ is The Way, The Truth, The Life and that no one can come to the Father except through JESUS only!!! Not Buddha, not Mohamed, not Mary, Brahma, no other Name has been given by which men can be saved from hellAnd yes you have a One world religion!!! What a great deception!!

This.... just isn't correct. This is universalism. It sounds good if you're some moderate utopianist, but it's hardly logical to try and reconcile exclusive claims to truth....
More herasy playing with appesrnces before uninformed, scripture is very clear NO to this and all Scripture is God breathed.
Hannah Ensly Goodness of humanity?
On the contrary...
• Moses says, "And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually." - Genesis 6:5 (KJV);
• Jesus says, "And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? none is good, save one, that is, God." - Luke 18:19 (KJV);
• The apostle Paul says, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" - Romans 3:10 (KJV);
• and King David said, "They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one." - Psalms 14:3 (KJV)
Don't be deceived. No one in the bible believes in the goodness of humanity, only in the goodness of God, the creator-which we are not. Ergo, not compatible with religions who say we are the Creator. Don't let interfaith movements deceive you and blind you to the details. The details are what matter.
Four quotes from many books does not your point make, my friend.
To name two, one from each Testament:
◘ Old Testament
_Exodus __23:32__-33 (NIV)_
32 *Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.* 33 _Do not let them live in your land or_ *they will cause you to sin against me,* *because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”*
◘ New Testament
_2 Corinthians __6:14__ (NIV)_
14 *Do not be yoked together with unbelievers.* _For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common?_ _Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?_
Had they been believers, they would submit to his commands. His commands are what make him "holy" (literally means "set-apart", distinct from what the other nations worship). And he tells us to be holy too:
• _1 Peter __1:15__-16 (NIV)_
15 _But just as he who called you is holy,_ _so be holy in all you do;_ 16 _for it is written:_ _“Be holy,_ _because I am holy.”[a]_
_Footnotes:_
a. 1 Peter 1:16 Lev. 11:44,45; 19:2
• _Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)_
12 _Therefore,_ _I urge you,_ _brothers and sisters,_ _in view of God’s mercy,_ _to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice,_ _holy and pleasing to God_ - _this is your true and proper worship._ 2 _Do not conform to the pattern of this world,_ _but be transformed by the renewing of your mind._ _Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is_ - _his good,_ _pleasing and perfect will._
We're not suppose to be like the world in any respect, let alone in worship.
• _Revelation 22:8-9 (NIV)_
8 _I,_ _John,_ _am the one who heard and saw these things._ _And when I had heard and seen them,_ _I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me._ 9 _But he said to me,_ _“Don’t do that!_ _I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll._ _Worship God!”_
If they deny YHWH's earthly incarnation, as Jesus, they're denying the prophets and the gospels too (which is no small matter).
Prophets:
• _Isaiah 9:6 (NIV)_
6 _For to us_ *a child is born,*
_to us_ *a son is given,*
_and the government will be on his shoulders._
_And_ *he will be called*
_Wonderful Counselor,_ *Mighty God,*
*Everlasting Father,* _Prince of Peace._
• _John 1:1, 14 (NIV)_
1 _In the beginning was the Word,_ _and the Word was_ *with* _God,_ _and the Word_ *was* _God._
14 _The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us._ _We have seen his glory,_ _the glory of the one and only Son,_ _who came from the Father,_ _full of grace and truth._
• _Galatians 1:8 (NIV)_
8 _But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you,_ _let them be under God’s curse!_
The Quran does a horrible job at "preserving" (if you could call it that) his commands nor the gospel. Muhammad outright instructs sexual immorality against YHWH's command, comparing Surah 2:230 to Deuteronomy 24:1-4.
• _Surah __2:23__0_
_Sahih International_
_And if he has divorced her [for the third time],_ _then_ *she is not lawful to him afterward until [after] she marries a husband other than him.* *And if the latter husband divorces her [or dies],* *there is no blame upon the woman and her former husband for returning to each other* _if they think that they can keep [within] the limits of Allah._ _These are the limits of Allah,_ _which He makes clear to a people who know._
• _Deuteronomy 24:1-4 (NIV)_
24 _If a man marries a woman who becomes displeasing to him because he finds something indecent about her,_ _and he writes her a certificate of divorce,_ _gives it to her and sends her from his house,_ 2 *and if after she leaves his house she becomes the wife of another man,* 3 *and her second husband dislikes her and writes her a certificate of divorce,* *gives it to her and sends her from his house,* *or if he dies,* 4 *then her first husband,* *who divorced her,* *is not allowed to marry her again after she has been defiled.* *That would be detestable in the eyes of the Lord.* _Do not bring sin upon the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance._
YHWH considers it sin. Muhammad says, "it's cool in Allah's view, go ahead". Are you kidding me? He's no prophet of YHWH if he's denying the Law of Moses. He shows no respect to YHWH's sense of righteousness and sexual purity. He's no prophet if he's denying the gospel either:
• _Surah __4:15__7_
_Sahih International_
_And [for] their saying,_ _"Indeed,_ _we have killed the Messiah,_ _Jesus,_ _the son of Mary,_ _the messenger of Allah."_ *And they did not kill him,* *nor did they crucify him;* _but [another] was made to resemble him to them._ _And indeed,_ _those who differ over it are in doubt about it._ _They have no knowledge of it except the following of assumption._ _And they did not kill him,_ _for certain._
Jesus, on the otherhand, in the biblical gospels, has crucifixion wounds in his hands, after rising from the dead on the third day i.e. John 20:25-29 (thus, is depicted as having been dead, and killed in an excruciating way, contrary to what the Quran alleges, "nah, he didn't die, he wasn't crucified"). Jesus even prophesied about his death, on three separate occassions, prior to it happening: Matthew 16:21; Matthew 17:23; Matthew 20:19
On the flipside, the other religions which are atheistic in nature (no deity), like Buddhism, Jainism, etc... deny YHWH: his existence and his commands.
• _Ezekiel __22:26__ (NIV)_
26 _Her priests do violence to my law and profane my holy things;_ _they do not distinguish between the holy and the common;_ _they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean;_ _and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths,_ _so that I am profaned among them._
We're suppose to guard his Holy reputation.
• _2 Kings 17:7-8 (NIV)_
7 _All this took place because_ *the Israelites had sinned against the Lord their God,* _who had brought them up out of Egypt from under the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt._ *They worshiped other gods* 8 *and followed the practices of the nations* _the Lord had driven out before them,_ *as well as the practices that the kings of Israel had introduced.*
I appreciate you sharing with me your views on this. While I don't agree with you on your main point, I certainly understand your stance and all of your clearly laid out evidence. It's clearly something you've researched and thought out.
