🌟 *Twist Kenken 2024 - A Day of Excitement and Learning!* 🌟
On September 17, 2024, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) hosted the highly anticipated *Twist Kenken 2024* competition at Lecture Hall S, bringing together math enthusiasts from all around. The day started with an energetic *Kompang parade* welcoming our esteemed guest, **Mrs. Hajah Zaharah Binti Abdullah**, Excellent Principal of SMK Bukit Jambul, Pulau Pinang. 🎉
The competition kicked off after a heartfelt *opening speech* by Mrs. Zaharah, followed by an inspiring video of past competitions. With excitement in the air, participants engaged in the thrilling *Kenken trials* and sharing sessions, displaying incredible problem-solving skills. 🧠✨
After intense rounds, we are proud to announce the **category winners**:
*1st Place**: **Zheng Zexuan* from Fujian Province, China, with an outstanding score of 414 🏅
*2nd Place**: **Khaw Eason* from SMJK Chung Ling, Pulau Pinang, scoring 411 🥈
*3rd Place**: **Tan Kai Sheng* from SMJK Chung Ling, Pulau Pinang, scoring 381 🥉
✨ And our *overall champion* is none other than *9-year-old Zheng Zexuan* from China! 🎉🏆
In the afternoon, we were honored by the presence of **Prof. Dr. Hailiza Kamarulhaili**, Dean of the School of Mathematical Sciences, USM, who delivered a motivating speech and joined us for the much-awaited **prize-giving ceremony**. 🏆
