    Excellent review! Excellent music and video angles. (Go Jesse).
    Adding the ball name layout, lane pattern and foot location, ball speed, revs, and path info makes this the absolute best ball review. Keep them coming. 🎉

    Good job on this video Dtang. Not only did you inform about the ball but how detailed your lane play and what ball you are using is a surprise. Continue to educate up and coming bowlers! Jesse and you make great content.

    I don't see this one being a big seller to the public. Tour pros and even amateur tourney guys will use it whenever the rules exclude other urethane balls like the Pitch Black and the Purple Hammer, but outside of that, I'm betting most will fall back on the shape and ball reaction of the softer urethane balls they were using before. It DOES seem, however, that Storm has done a great job utilizing a big(er), strong(er) core to offset the harder, weaker coverstock to best mimic the now "illegal" urethane balls.

    • @timanders3151
      @timanders3151 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It's the IQ core, there is nothing big or strong about it.

    • @mattvg1776
      @mattvg1776 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      @@timanders3151 Of course the core is weak, but compared to the Pitch Black (which is what I was referencing), it is significantly different (stronger). 78u uses the C3 core whereas the PB has the old Capacitor core. Flare is way different (more) on the new 78u compared to the PB, and that's all bc the core compensates for the weaker cover. If you look at the specs, you'd see that (PB: 2.57, 0.022 vs 78u: 2.49, 0.029).

      I disagree.... this ball has more torque than the pitch core. Lower rev bowlers will be able to use this over the older urethane.

    Hi Darren. I have a question for you, in my bowling league I have a couple teammates that throw a lot of shadow balls while throw a few and noticed in recent weeks lanes break down so much going into the second game is it a good idea to throw a urethane ball since my Summit and Phaze V break so much? Thanks and keep up the awesome work.

    Hi Darren I am a 13 year old amateur bowler. And I continue to get blisters on my right thumb which is the thumb I bowl with. I know what I’m doing I just don’t know how to fix it. When releasing the ball my hand isn’t under the ball it’s more on the side which I know my hand is supposed to be under the ball but I just can get my hand to do it. I really need help on it because I was supposed to bowl a tournament next weekend and now I can’t because of my thumb. I have watched all your videos I just can’t seem to fix it. I think it dosent work because when I go bowling I don’t remember what you say so being able to come back to comments will be amazing!Please give some tips anyone!

    Need some help bro understanding something. So when I get my bowling balls they bowl really good for about the first day or so then the next time out. Or after a couple games it acts like a totally different ball. Am I suppose to keep putting my ball on a ball spinner and applying storm gloss

    • @realspeed95
      @realspeed95 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry I was writing fast but what I mean by this is that. The ball will have a good amount of hook and then it’s like the intensity of the hook will start to disappear over time and I don’t feel like it’s the lanes. Or it’s that the oil on the lanes get attached to the ball to easily because it’s not polished. Maybe you can do a video on ball maintenance that you should do before every league game

    • @SirJoelsuf1
