I believe drug names need to approved by the gov't...goal was to make them dissimilar so prescriptions wouldn't get confused when filling at the pharmacy. Doctors had notoriously bad handwriting so making distinct names would help that. Probably now that Rx's are sent electronically this is not an issue now, but things change slowly..

@@cloakster take out a loan to invest and make money is widely viewed as a terrible idea, but that's exactly what happened with institutional investors taking loans from Japan to invest in the market. Japan raises rates while markets go down equals people having to exit positions at a bad time when they should be doubling down.
