This is more scuffed than the other map guides. Mostly because this is on arguably more difficult than Sans in certain areas. I try my best to limit myself, but this is an area where you should use every advantage you have.

If it helps, if you REALLY want to get a special soul, Mettaton EX is actaully the best choice, it can replace a mad dummy and the slowing effect really helps

If you use bravery, you can easily get by wave 2 secret encounter with 5 maxed astigs and a couple of mad dummies. Don't forget to skip waves immediately to work on your mad dummies. For the air units, 1 level 3 whimsalots at the intersection at the base and another at the (path where whimsalot first spawns) can get you by against air units

thanks man, i got mettaton neo and parsnik on my first try with this, but i had some alterations. Firstly i used Undying and Muffet as special souls, i used patience and true patience is disgustingly good) I used astigmatism, Whimsalot and mad dummy for my normal towers, cause of true patience, so if you have patience, you can probably do core gen at like level 11 like i did, and in the last wave the mad dummies that were all level 5 cause of the money i got early on literally took away 80% of neo's health when they came in contact with neo. I don't know what the buff to Determination is, but patience could be better than bravery due to bravery's gold buff not being 2x

@@demilonss2 that’s true, but with true patience you won’t die cause you’ll have such a good defense and plus, dying does make everything take longer. Secondly True Determination simply doubles your current gold when you die. So you’ll need to plan ahead. Thirdly True determination does not work against bosses like Sans, while true patience doubles your gold at the start, I got 127k gold at the start of my run at reset 2 level 19 with true patience and I could max my temmies at the first gravity inverted phase

With a lot of migration, lvl 15 and almost 300 percent g multiplier with lvl 15 and true bravery , I am proud to say I beat migospel with +1 max monster so I could have 6 migospels place down. it was close though.

@@randomepicgamer1658 you can get 100 from lvl, 75 from resets, 50 from map titles, 30 from quest titles, 30 from monster collection, 30 from beating the various ends, and infinite from g multiplier upgrades and quests.

astigmatism is the best option, but pyrope is also a good replacement if you somehow dont have astigmatism

it is been almost 2 years, and it is "almost" working perfectly, also whimsalot custs 1200 rn but it is working perfectly 👍
If you do have true lab units but don't have the materials try to get memory head wich is realy powerful and is the only true lab non-evolution unit(if you have 4 tower slots then ur gonna want to put him in there).
I have snowdrake's mother but don't have materials, is she any good in here?

This guide worked perfectly on me, i just changed antigmatism to reaper bird because using antigmatism was not working.
All you need is just enough g to place 3 astigmatisms or reaper bird
You can get through 1st wave easier with 2-3 astigs and 1 mad dummy at the back
sans destroys neo on lv 5, also grab pies it'll be more op than it's ever gonna be
So I found out RiverPerson quests can give +G multiplier as well..
I got NEO first try with this strat tysm

Yeah, Mettaton NEO defence messes this strat up a lot, I did find out the Whimsalots and Undying deals decent damage everyhit with the DEF but I still couldn't beat it. A way to beat it is to just get Omega Flowey and just place him at the end, even the 15 seconds helps a lot
Dang. Well I suppose this guide was the one most bound to get outdated. Geno Core is arguably more difficult than some bosses.

Core Genocide is more difficult than pacifist. Using this guide you should be able to beat pacifist Core, unless it is too outdated.

Some enemies went a different route and didnt go through the main defence and it was so hard

Astigmatism is still the best starting unit until Reaper. The nerf is just 100 extra gold, so it hardly chances places in tier lists.
Let's compare Glyde to Mad Dummy.
Glyde has a level 5 DPS of 450, but hits everything in range including flying.
Mad Dummy has a level 5 DPS of 700, which is only single target.
Glyde has 13 more range than Mad Dummy.
Mad Dummy costs 68500 gold to max.
Glyde costs 159500 gold to max.
Mad Dummy is less than half Glydes cost, and has higher single target damage. I would recommend only using Glyde to clear flying and crowds, but focusing on Mad Dummy for killing NEO.

@@FlamingHatYT I didn’t even listen to the guide I just brough reaper, glyde, temmie, alphys, migospel, sans, Neo (someone carried me and I got him), undying. Didn’t even use temmie or alphys but I still destroyed everything with reaperbird and lvl 5 undying

I got TWO LVL2 FINAL FROGGITS IN A ROW AS THE FIRST SET OF ENEMIES!
I was so mad at my luck I immediately stopped playing for a bit
So expanding upon this, I still haven’t beaten this once because of somehow consistently getting the Wave 2 Secret encounter.
Isn’t that like, a 7% chance for that encounter? Yeah I got it 3 times in a row before giving up.

I don't recall what I used here, but my current gold is like 400% I think?
@@FlamingHatYT that is a pretty high number, but I beat it sometime earlier, including Migospel, haven’t gotten another one to appear after that but it’s fine as it’s a recipe so I can craft as many as I’d like.
The mettaton neo had 178k health my mad dummies couldnt deal enough damage 😢

If you have bravery and the territory ruler, / confident and then true bravery. PLEASE USE ONLY AIR TOWERS.
Definitely a valid playstyle. Just a note, you *should* be able to start with land towers, but then sell the land towers later. People told me that TR works as long as only one type is out. So you can still start with Astigmatism.

Dummy is a 20% secret encounter for Ruins Genocide Wave 1. Chances are you will get it within 20 attempts.

Im new to this game but have 1 reset and wanna ask: will i lose my secret monsters and evolution monsters if i do reset? And do i need to complete whole neutral by sparing to get pacifist route?
you don't lose secret monsters, you do lose evolution monsters unless they are also secret monsters, you keep the recipes tho
also yeah you need to beat all the normal areas full pacifist once for both Asriel fight and true lab

@@BonnyristMC also just a tiny tip, get dummy before reset, not mad but normal dummy and keep it, you won't lose it on reset and if you get nap early you can start with mad dummy, glyde, tem, and whatever secret soul you want

Now I know why you never used special souls, but can you, please recommend some? I'm thinking that Muffet and Undyne would be good but I'd like to hear your opinion as well.
Hmm. Even in my standard Geno Core runs I don't usually take Special Souls into it, despite DT being the best SS soul. If you really want some recommendations, then Undyne The Undying is probably your best bet. The biggest problem is that she takes a while to set up, while the others are usually too weak to matter in Geno Core.

Hi! I am currently reset 1 and can place a maximum of 2 astig at the beginning. I've managed to get migospel down to 8K hp before dying. What I am wondering is if its possible to defeat migospel on reset 1... any tips would be appreicated!
I'd say without help it isn't worth it until you have a higher gold modifier.

You can't do True Lab until at least reset 2. It's one of the many reasons I suggested skipping solo Geno Core until reset 2 or 3.
I have 2 resets and 18 LV and haven't beated sans aka last Corridor and I have muffet and EX.

Genocide Core has been buffed a LOT recently, could you make a new guide?
Honestly I would rather not make another guide for Geno Core. Brute forcing it with Reaper and Glyde is much simpler.
You could use moldbygg for round 1, ik it sounds silly but it actually helps a ton if you dont have any true lab monster

A normal Core Geno run involves me setting up Reaper Birds until I have enough money for Glyde to wipe out all my enemies. Undyne The Undying is pretty useful too.
And where would I put the glydes?

You start with more money if you have a higher gold multiplier. You can raise it by having more resets, levels or titles.

You're remembering to level it up right? If you place your Whimsalots down at a low level, then they will have low range too. That's why you have to place well and upgrade.

Glyde is pretty much the best AIR unit. Whimsalot is cheaper but weaker. Obviously Undying is the strongest, other than only being able to have one of her.

Yup! That's why I intentionally didn't spend all my money in a few sections. I wanted to make it easier to follow for players who have less money.

What’s the strategy for Migospel
This guide assumes you won't face Migospel. If you want to kill Migospel, then True Lab units are recommended, but not required.

Place them in the same location that kills NEO most effectively, since Migospel goes by that one main spot.
