Love mine, and by the way, this model fits on the LCP Max as well, if you’re interested in increasing the capacity of your pocket pistol. Stay safe out there.

Thanks! So, I’m curious, after 2 years are you still liking this laser sight. I just ordered one of these for my LCP II 380. Of the Armalaser and Viridian, I like the look of this one the best. I appreciate your review. Cheers.
Yes I do. I have an LCP-II that has the factory laser and I've thought about trading it for one without, just so I can attach a Laser Max instead. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching. I just got one for my Sig p365, I like the idea of a laser, for the simple fact you are not always going to be facing an encounter face on and feet shoulder width apart, two hands on the gun to aim. Once this is zeroed in, I don't even have to look down the barrel of my gun, I put a hole where the green dot is (or close enough to it). There's also a chance that someone sees a green dot on their chest and stops what they are doing, and you might not have to shoot someone. I agree with your review, thanks, do you have any new thoughts on the Lasermax's durability? I bought a Lasermax green laser/light combo for my wife's Shield, she loves it.
Excellent! Thanks for the feedback. Always appreciated and I agree -- keep both eyes open keeping the green dot on the target and shoot if necessary. As for durability, I've had to replace batteries, but otherwise no problems and the unit stays zeroed-in. Thanks for watching and if you haven't already, I hope you'll check out my other "Mick Mac" Tabletop Review videos on TH-cam.
I (by far) prefer Crimson Trace’s activate button because it’s pressure activated and given green laser batteries last less than 2 hours that’s of critical importance.
Interesting perspective. Thanks for watching and sharing. If you haven't already, I hope you'll check out my other "Mick Mac" Tabletop Review videos on TH-cam.
Hi, I have heard the battery life is not good on the sensor grip laser. Is this true? Which do you prefer the sensor grip or the Manuel laser? Thanks for the review.
You are very welcomed. As for battery life, it depends on the amount of activation. I have both the LaserMax and ArmaLaser systems installed on pistols that have lasted more than a year and still going on their original batteries. Of course the guns are always in holsters and the lasers are only tested briefly before carry. As for my preference, without a doubt I'll take the sensor grip laser systems over the manual. In a real-world situation, I want the laser to activate automatically. Thanks for the feedback and thanks for watching. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. I like the IWB Blackhawk soft holster for carrying this Ruger LCP with the LaserMax system. The only problem is the holster is beginning to ware quite a bit on the clip side after just a year's use. They're cheap so I'm not too concerned. I'll just replace it. Thanks for watching and if you haven't already, I hope you check out my other "Mick Mac" Tabletop Review videos on TH-cam.
I have a LaserMax Centerfire Grip Sense laser on my LCP Max. It works fine and I love it, but I do have a major complaint. Once it installed, I creates a U-shaped notch with sharp edges just in front of the trigger. That's where my tigger finger goes! So, it tends to cut into my finger when I fire t he pistol. You are not going to like that laser when you first start sending projectiles down range. What I am doing to relieve the situation is to file down the excess plastic in front of the trigger with a round file, with the pistol unloaded, of course. It takes a lot time, and I am not finished, but I have managed to dull the sharp edges considerably. It makes me suspect that the LaserMax people do not test fire guns with LaserMax Centerfire lasers installed in order to detect and fix such problems.
Yep, a common complaint. I used to wrap a bit of tape around mine at that spot. Eventually, a file did the job of making it smooth enough for carry purposes. You think they would have addressed that issue in its design. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Don't forget to like, share and subscribe. Sorry, it will not. But the ArmaLaser TR2G is designed to fit the original Ruger LCP. It's a green laser sight with GripTouch Activation. Very similar to the LaserMax. About $150 from Amazon. How well does this laser work when using a pocket holster? I would want to keep it on the grip sense mode because I wouldn’t have to rely on hitting the button but I use a pocket holster so I feel like having it in the holster set to the grip sense function the holster would activate the light and cause the battery to be drained
It works very well. I use a Sticky (Sm-3) pocket holster and the battery does not drain. Activation requires skin contact so I should probably point out that this means a gloved hand will interfere with the LaserMax activation. Otherwise, its a great reliable system. No, but there are pocket holsters you can buy that accommodate the added laser.
