FAT ANNA GETS A MAKE OVER - Restoring a Vintage Fleischmann BR89 Tank Engine - HO Scale

We've already looked at this vintage Fleischmann steam locomotive in HO Scale - an 0-6-0 steam tank engine locomotive and represents a German DB 89 class. It is a 2nd hand purchase and has been badly painted in the past. In this video we do a full restoration of this vintage model railway locomotive in HO Scale and also modify it with some directional LEDs.

Great stuff! I'm 100% with you on this - these restoration jobs have become my favourite aspect of model railways. Nothing satisfies me more than getting an old, sad model back into shape.
Car spray points are a great solution, though sometimes getting the right colour can be a bit hit or miss ! When I rebuilt a very old and very tired Dublo Duchess of Atholl, I decided to repaint her as 6234 Duchess of Abercorn in 1946 experimental LMS blue. I tried 3 different aerosols until I found the right one (a Ford Mondeo colour 😂). But the result is really good.
Keep doing these restorations, they're great fun.
