I was so fortunate to grow up in Southeast Texas with a large Vietnamese population. Vietnamese good is amazing! It's one of my favortie cuisines. Ever since I've moved away I can't find any good Vietnamese good so your recipe videos have helped me many times DIY it. I wish I had a deli like that nearby. Cheers!

My sister & I were not picky eaters in any way, shape or form. It's so nice to see a parent who understands the importance of developing a child's palette. :-)
Banh Mi Che Cali on Valley blvd. Great place for inexpensive vietnamese foods. I always get the Banh Cuon, the rice rolls with pork and mushroom. Freshly made to order.
Oh my gosh, I grew up on Vietnamese food and I LIVED on Vietnamese deli snacks and foods. So delicious! One of my favorite kinds of xoi was xoi sau rieng 😁 Also, your daughter is absolutely adorable!! ❤️ This was such a fun video to watch ☺️
Haha if you think she's picky, my almost 3 year old niece is super picky. Won't eat meats, won't eat vegetables, won't eat fruits. Her diet mostly consists of bread and cheese 😂 this is the first toddler I've met who won't eat chicken nuggets. Had to trick her into eating a chicken fry by telling her it was a French fry. Sometimes if she is in the mood she might eat some banana 😂 also will occasionally eat barbeque chicken but she really has to be in the mood for it.
This almost sounds like my youngest except she will eat some fruit, mainly berries! I have no desire to meal plan because I assume she won't eat anything but eggs and oatmeal. I wanna cook all the things, kid!
Great job, Erisy! She didn't like the che, but then you picked the worst three! Hahaha! The filled balls in ginger sauce with coconut sauce poured on is one of m favorites. But the other che stuff you showed was way better than the ones you picked for her to try (I hate the medicine-y one and have yet to like it even as an adult). My favorite desserts are the ones filled with a combo of coconut, peanuts, sesame seed, and sugar. And most pandan flavored stuff is awesome! I didn't see the baked green spongy coconut and pandan cake - I bet she'd love that one.
Did the lady not u guys there filming...😅..they have to sweep right at your feet? I went to a place before, a Vietnamese place just to look through the window a little. The owner came out with some burning paper and essence...to burn away bad mojo.

Plenty of asian vegetarian places. Even tofu spots. Most Vietnamese buddhist temples only offer vegetarian food for their visitors.
