Hi mate, your lessons are killer. One suggestion - if you used a click track when playing slow it would make it so much easier to 'rehearse' the solo with you :) Keep the Pantera coming! Thank you
good lesson, I got all the notes in my head, I just sound like an amateur when I play it, but i used to try this solo all the time when I was 17-23 and ended up giving up, you and a few of the other tutorials combined all your knowledges and advice and i got it in a very very very difficult headache of a week. Thanks for helping me on my journey
Just a little pointer.. on the 11,12,15 run only the fist 3 notes on each string are picked.. the other 3 are hammer ons.. gives it that smooth run... his pick hand and fret hand was incredible

He tuned to 440hz on the first 5 albums for some reason (metal magic thru CFH)
If he was at 440hz then Dime wouldn't be tuned to somewhere in between E and D#

To make Dime's tuning easy, set your tuner to 425 hz, then tune standard.
This is pretty much impossible to do for me but I'm going to attempt it. I doubt my small hands can do the stretches.
Did you prefer this 22 fret PRS to play the stretching fingers part easier?
If I got a dime every time he says hopefully that's making sense, I'd have quite a few dimebags

Try changing your grip a little that taco shape works honestly but if you have small hands it may not be as effective. Great solo and great tutorial
