They don't last they are built not to last.. Me and sum friends owned fitbit 3 and all our watches stuffed out. If I brought a casino watch it would still be working.
I've had my FB charge 2 since 2016. The electronics for the display is just finally failing so the screen looks garbled but the face of my charge 2 has held up very well. Thus, I'm researching to replace it. Who knows, I'm pretty active, there's been times after following through my stroke playing tennis I've hit my watch with the frame but yet I've never had it fracture. Maybe I've been lucky but I've knocked it doing many things working out in the yard, home improvements etc..Now I'm deciding between another Fitbit or Apple Watch. If AW had a better sleep app and much better battery life like Fitbit does, it would be an easier decision:) I'm just not so sure about all the new Fitbit models?
Please cosider info about the interchange ability of additional bands, i.e. :Will charge 3 bands work on charge 4 bands? I am one who is fashionable and have many different styles of bands. I won't buy a 4 if 3 bands don't work with it.....
don’t buy it. mine just died after 1 year and 2 months. it never suffered any physical or water damage and i didn’t wear it to sleep either. the screen just died one day, even though it still tracks my data and charges well, the screen died in the middle of my workout and was unable to do wake it up. i tried to reset it, change clock display, talked to the customer support, followed their steps etc. since it was about 2 months out of warranty they “kindly” offered 35% discount for my next fitbit product 😂 i expected this thing to last more than a year. switching to garmin now 😐 btw, it had laggy moments before as well, and the display is not technically dead because it shows the smiley face when you restart it - it just won’t show anything else and absolutely doesn’t respond to anything.
GPS is the main new edition added to the charge 4. The interface is similar to the charge 3 interface just with a few more features. I would recommend watching a charge 3 review to learn more about the interface and much more.
You can't control spotify while you're running. There is a lot of complains on the fitbit page and they're not doing anything.
It’s the same as the Fitbit charge 3 but with GPS. Literally the same heart rate sensor, same screen, same design and etc. The only difference is GPS

Charge 3 has a aluminium side and the Charge 4 a plastic side :)

if my fitbit alta can survive for 4 years with a lotta scratch marks, and been dropped multiple times, I think this thing could surivive longer.

They are the same size so the bands from the charge 3 can also be used for the charge 4 :)

No, the Fitbit will keep track of your data for many weeks. You just might want to sync your Fitbit from time to time for the best results.
