An alternative gambling option for the wizard is to go for daggers for a 1/3 chance of getting the wizard spike. Most of the wizard wand multipliers aren't much better than using archon or desintigrate but wizard spike gives value immediately and procs while in archon too.
33% good dagger chance vs 40% good wand chance; not that much worse, but I'd hate to get Pig Sticker! 😂 One thing I would do is save Kadala shards until 33, to roll for Etched Sigil off-hand.
@jmdixon1 40% is assuming that the serpent sparker, aether walk, unstable scepter, and wand of woe are all a direct upgrade to just using desintegrate I think the only the aether walker and Wand of woe are definitively better. The others are kinda meh.
/golfclap for the Wolf of Wall Street clip. I had thought you were gone for good 🤣. It’s nice to see you back Filthy, and for the most part I agree with your list. Can’t decide if I want to do Tal wiz again for a 3rd season before it gets inevitably nerfed in the final balance patch or go DH for the smoother leveling….
im gonna go LoD blessed shield.. one of my favourite builds and fun to progress from just having the shield power while leveling into getting all the bits and pieces
Running necro to 70 and initial paragon with SSF HC up to GR45 for the conquest using LoD corpse explosion, then wizard for firebirds tarsi as a farming build, then making a crusader and chicken doc as alts FoH and chicken were fun in PTR
Hi Filthy, so good to watch your guide once again. S28 brought me to the next level of experience, I gave a proper shot to Wizard which I absolutely fell in love with, thanks to Tal Rasha and its casual friendly approach. I finished solo GR 150 after 6 years of playing D3. S29 offers quite interesting mechanics, I guess top grinders will genuinely dig the SSF and paragon cap. As for my plans, I prolly won't continue past Guardian, after I've completed season journey, I'm thinking a long term hiatus is anticipated. I'll return to S30, after the devs have implemented the Altar as permanent feature, though tweaked somehow, I hope they won't go too crazy nerfing the damage bonuses. Cheers!
I really enjoy looking at several lists like these from different content creators but this one I have a few issues with, mainly with the "Start Speed" and the Crusader section. The Invoker 2&4 piece is good. Ofc it's weak compared to some of the others but it doesn't deserve a 3 since it still easily lets you clear GR20 and thats also my issue with the "Start Speed" Score. The overall score shouldn't be influenced that much by the 2&4 piece score since the timeframe you spend in that state is extremely small comapared to the leveling experience and 6piece farming. This results in some classes having an abyssmally low start score like crusader and monk, which in turn makes them seem worse than they actually are in the overall ranking. IMO If the different scores aren't also weighed differently they paint a wrong picture which in the end, doesn't help that much. So for anyone looking to start Crusader, don't let this list discourage you from doing so. A few other things I'd argue: - with the new paragon cap the best speed builds are by far in possesion of Monk & DH, Tal Rasha is an amazing set but it's speed score should be at best an 8 compared to how fast Monk, DH and Crus do GR90s - Inarius is rated way too high, I'd highly advice to just go for Legacy of Dreams at the start - some of the leveling scores are weird, they're all at least a 6 or 7 if you get the right gambling results at lvl 1, Monk without Crudest is horrible but they're easy to get so I can live with its score but then so is Winters Flurry for Mage and if you have it, Mage is definitely not a 5. I think these rankings are the cause of not having too much experience with some classes and/or it just being way too nuanced to rank My Season summary would be: - DH & Wizard have the strongest starter, other classes are roughly the same with only Necro adviced to use LoD - Monk, DH and Crusader best GR90 speeds - Necro, Wizard and Barb best chance to solo GR150
Always nice to hear people's opinions. I've attached the spreadsheet so people can put their own figures in but 'Fastest' start is always hard to please everyone. If I put too much focus on later game, casual players don't like it and it I do too much on the earlier stuff, hard core players don't like it I think Invoker is awful, you have to run around after everything clicking on it. It's so slow and monk is wretched to put together finding the fist weapon. I'll stand by those but sure, at 800 paragon you can start any class and it isn't going to make a huge difference if you stick around for a month. Some players only want to put in 10-20 hrs for a season and that is of course very different Necro - going LOD over Inarius. I used to think this, but finding 13 ancient items is very hard and Inarius is a flat 10k mod which works with any other Necro items found so I'd say it's better to get the set on balance Good luck in S29 :-)
When a set’s DR is tied to a 60sec cooldown that can’t be lowered by the set itself, and absolutely needs the belt for it to be active for any length of time…yeah that’s gunna effect the amount of enjoyment I (and I imagine this is true for many others) get from gearing up with it. I’m glad you find Invokers nice to play with, but I guess I prefer a proactive method of dealing damage, not a reactionary.
Good to see another video from you Filthy...in Raxx's tier list for season 29 he mentioned that the Altar was returning. In the patch notes, I could only find this blurb "Fixed an issue with some icons in the Altar of Rites having hard edges."
200/200 arcane power is a huge damage option for Star Pact, but how to make it work without the Altar's APoC and Empowered shrine's buff? I've tried a wizard hat with APoC + Aughild ( instead of Guardian ) on PTR, the result isn't all that impressive.
Dude, it's awesome to see a video from you. Hope you are doing awesome!
So fantastic to see content from you again, you've been sorely missed, keep up the legendary Filthy casual content you rock man.
Now finally everyone is on a even playing field with the paragon cap woot this is a win for sure
Missed hearing from you. Glad to see you putting out content.
You had me at "massive powerdrop". Count me in!
🤣🤣🤣

Wow, I really miss watching your videos, a blast from the past!
Everybody is back for D3!
Dude comes back after 2 months, does not MENTION d4 at all, like it never existed.
🤣
He actually mentions it in passing when talking about the paragon limit 😅
Wait Diablo 4 exists?

Glad to see your back.
Great to hear from you again. Internet Jaffa Cake for you.
Glad to see a video from you! Yours are really relatable to me as I am also a filthy casual player......
I love that the FOH crusader is back, I really like how chill that build was back in the previous season
Even more chill no😂 Might aswell let someone else play for you

I think it returns from Season 30
@@FilthyCasual96 Makes sense. Enjoy season 29!
The community dev for D4 confirmed Alter was returning season 30 and beyond in a subtweet when they announced D3 Season 29 initially.
Its listed in "What the Future Holds" section where it says the alter will be going core with season 30.
Missed your videos!!! Wb
Oooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh. Your reason for the 800 paragon limit. Never considered it, but you are probably right.
Necrotic mod sounds fun, I remember how much I liked the old 75% healing debuff from terror demons although that was way before 10000000% set buffs.
Glad your back

I can't help but laugh at that TV License ad.
What's going on, Filthy, it's TH-cam.
Paragon cap should be higher for sure
Best start for every season on every game is to just go Barbarian. Pick up big sticks and bonk the demons on the head. 🦍
I really dont think the 800 Paragon Cap is gonna stay for very long.
Is it totally capped at 800 or just the points we can distribute? I could not really understand this.
@@goshu7009 points, 200 max in each tab.
You can earn more, the counter goes up, but past 800 it's pointless as you can only apply 800 to your character
Is the 800 cap only for SSF or non SFF as well?
it is for all
THE MOTHER FUCKING KING IS BACK 🤘🤘🤘
Legendo!!! \o/\o/
Where you been Filthy?
