@@krectus I looted all legendaries until I had all Ancients, then got bored to death of spam vendoring nonstop and found I actually got souls faster ignoring legendaries + all other non-mat loot just because I wasn't spending 95% of my playtime in town anymore.
I mean, maxroll lays it out perfectly. Roughly every 100 mobs you get a portal, which I found to be true. Easiest way to get them is: Briarthorne Cemetery, Temple of Firstborn chest, and cow level. I spawned 6 of the portals in 1 cow level so, ya. >.>
They seem to spawn every couple minutes no matter where I’m playing so I just run bounties and do these along the way. Otherwise it feels a bit too monotonous.
If you're in the middle of a Bounty run and spent some time running, you can leave the portal till after you've finished that individual bounty - it stays open even if you go to another level. That way you don't waste the minutes spent getting to level 2 of those caves and have to run all the way back there if you do a portal and get dropped in town when it closes.
Not many done here. under 30 initial portals entered and I've had double goblin portal in a run once and single goblin floor maybe 3-4 times. I'm hoping for this to keep going 😂
When I spawned the cow level I got 3 portals before it was done. Trying to get the cube at level 1, I also spawned 4 portals before I could get to the cube. Each time I spawned a portal, I executed it. Trying to complete my first set of bounties, I spawned 4 sets on the way to the butcher. And once, I killed the final goblin in a corner and the loot popped out of the other side of a locked gate. Some of the loot was too far away to collect. So. Herd your final goblin to a better harvest location than me!
After timing, how much time it took you to inspect your inventory and hand picked every item you don't want. You could have gone to Headrick and salvaged them for more forgotten souls.😅
Yeah, I don't get how throwing away legendaries gets you more legendaries? I guess he is saying that he will rely on goblin levels where they can drop essentially bags of recycled legendaries?
I've ran many season themes and have only had a goblin floor once and it was the last floor. I accidently, in my haste, clicked the chest and missed out on most of the drops. I wish they popped up roughly every 4 runs for me.
I saw a video claiming it can average 3 portals per run, promoting it as a way to get portals. UPDATE: Now Wudijo is also pushing this approach. NOTE: One cow run can spawn 5 or 6 portals, but you must run them when they show up because you can only have a single portal open at once (so don't clear the whole level once or you will miss a lot).
Yeah it's brutal. Feels like the meta is looting legendaries until you've got all basic Ancients, then ignoring all loot completely unless it's red or mats.
Great video. You are using lightning? (Thundercrash) How do you get all four Tal's elements? Could you list the skills? Edit: seem to work with Frozen Mist :-)
Please for the love of god they need to remove/allow you to pass through the torches on the festering pit level.. the amount of times ive gotten stuck moving fast for absolutely no reason. Just terrible level design for this theme.
Porting back and forth takes a couple seconds, you standing in the rift and deciding what to pick out of the inventory takes more time and gives you less materials. I disagree with this approach.
When you get to town, you still have to 'decide' what to keep and salvage. The point I was making was, try and go through the whole thing once as fast as you can to get the goblins for max resources. I don't think the extra 20 Forgotten souls going back to town twice per portal is worth it, but that's up to you
The limiting factor this season is Forgotten Souls this season, but the theme is very useful for progression of gear
You can spawn multiples on the cow level and act 2 fields of misery!!
Well you're throwing away all your legendries instead of salvaging them....think we might have found the problem!
Imagine if we still had the auto-pickup and salvage from the Altar this season... man that would make our lives so much easier on the mats department

Yes, I forgot to mention this. Finish the bounty first is generally best 👍🏻👍🏻
And don't forget at the end of such a bounty there is a stone to teleport you back to the beginning of the dungeon

I’d argue you’ve been very lucky with goblins I’ve done around 30 runs and have had 1 goblin floor.
It's all about volume. I actually hit a double goblin portal once lol. But I've done probably 200 of these
yeah I've done about 40 or so and found 2. Crazy to think some people are finding them 25% of the time.

I just go back to town, often, because I like loot.
The goblin floors are ridiculous. T16 is soo crazy.. I had the Shrouded Moors floor with gobs... holly hell.. soo many mats
There is always the Cow rift,which is very easy to create
So far I have only found 1 goblin floor and that was when I wasnt strong enough to kill them all quickly enough :(
You can also use Act 1 Halls of Agony 1-3 to try and spawn the portals on a regualr basis
Can confirm, I got a single floor twice. Once the circular room and once the swinging battering ram.

Doing these with the altar in season 30 will be so good once you have the auto salvage, auto dbs, double dbs, insane amount of mats :D!

My permanent situation - 3000+ bounty mats, 0 souls.
I use the kill Adria map in act V, since it has so many small mobs spawning. Works very well.

If u go to the spot where Adria spawns pandemonium i think it spawns alot as there are loads of enemies

Why did you say you don't want cow sticks. That is the fastest way to get portals
Playing 7 classes I have no storage space and going to a high density area without a cow stick is just as easy
