Hey Tajah I just wanna say how proud I am of you. I am a 17 years old Jamaican and I truly respect your hustle. You and your mom's relationship reminds me so much of the one I have with my mom. I am currently in my first year of college trying to get my Bachelors Degree. Saying this to say that you are truly an inspiration my mom works so hard to ensure that we have what we need and when you said that you are a hustler like your mom it just brought me back to the relationship I have with my mom.. As you and I know most Caribbean moms, and parents truly work hard so that their children can have the opportunities that they did not have and I want to say that you are truly an inspiration. PS. Tajah…use the guest closet as your “store”. You can get the bookshelves and put the items in there. Then use the room as your total office. That’s way if you have anyone come over, all of you inventory is in the closet closed up.
I agree! And maybe use the old bed in there too since it’s a guest room… it’s too nice to be sitting in storage lol

For office: Maybe a wall of ikea wardrobe closets, so you can shut the doors and not have to see all your inventory if you don’t want to? Keep the furniture white so it’s clean and goes with everything.

Dark cabinets looks good, brings contrast. Not sure if you have an ikea where you are but their wardrobes are great for storage. You can customize it how you want and it hides everything and looks classy. Good luck..

Guest closet is already set up for inventory. Each wall..shelves can help to keep the inventory for each business separate. That way you'll have a more effective pull/pack system. Taj we're crying with you! So super proud of you

You can actually fit two shoes racks in the coat closet and place you luggage on the top rack. Add some shelves in the laundry area for cleaning supplies and laundry supplies. You have a ELFA master closet system and can purchase shelves, draws and rods for your master closet from the Container Store. Make your office functional to how you package your items to ship. In my opinion, I would use as much of the guest closet as possible to store your business inventory so that it is out the way. Keep the unsightly items in there. For the smaller items you choose to put in the office area, purchase a few of those ladder wall racks (Amazon) and put your items on them.
I agree Tajah! I still have my journal from when I started therapy at 15-16 and I look back and just thank God sooo much bc I dealt with sooo much trauma! I avoid writing too bc it feels like I’m complaining and whining but I get my moments! I loveeee the new space congratulations again love 💕🎉
