I've had my 2007 Z4 Coupe 3.0i with a six speed manual (one of 828) now for a little over 5 years, and have never regretted a day of ownership. It has 62K miles, and I put only about 4K a year on the car as it is stored from mid November till end of March. I've upgraded the struts to Bilsteins for improved ride quality, with no loss of crispness to the handling and turn in. I've also eschewed the run flat tires for Firestone Indy 500's. Great tires for not a lot of money, but don't get caught out on a cold day with them. I will be retiring in a year or so, and intend to keep this car throughout my retirement, handing it down to one of my three sons at some point. I believe it is truly one of the best transition sports cars of its era. What I mean by that is it has just enough modern technology to make it really reliable and safe, but retains enough old world analog feel to make it a fun and visceral driving experience.
Have put over 109,000 miles on mine as a daily with only a couple surprises and find it fits like a glove as I spend hours on trips... Awesome concept... Thx for review.
Yes, as has been said the 3.0Si was Montego Blue - only Ms were Interlagos. I've had 2 and just can't work out why anyone would want an Auto? Still my latest is an M Coupe so it's manual only!
