That is very nice looking , pleasing to the eye. I have learned a lot from following your channel over the years Ray. Thank you for everything you do for the community and I appreciate you.
The Victrix Venus is a beast. I have the cheapest version, the Venus X, in 6.5 Creedmoore which, in Italy, Is a really good value for money and unironically cheaper than a Tikka. It is incredibly accurate and reliable but with less features compared to the more expensive versions. It is not a problem to me since I like the doctrine of high quality, low features for budget guns. The magazine is amazing even if it's not a standard AICS/AW which was a bit of a turn down in the beginning. The chassis has everything you need to get into positional shooting. I got into a problem with the bolt (bolt catch wouldn't work) so I contacted them through a gun shop and they arranged shipping to the factory repair shop free of charge and no questions asked. The rifle is still in repair so I don't know the results BUT for now I must say they seem to have amazing customer service too. This is a company that makes me proud to be an Italian shooter.
I’m excited to see more Victrix content. Since your first Victrix video I watched more from other creators. Victrix isn’t super well known but I saw some superb precision!
Very interesting rifle, Ray. What's the advantage of such a long barrel for a rimfire? A complete powder burn is obtained between 18 to 20" for rimfires. I remember reading that in 22lr that the velocity decreases after 20". Are their champers cut to favor any specific brand of ammunition? (Lapua or Eley?) Took some goggling to find 11 Tenths contact info. No web sight.
Victrix-USA.com is their website. The longer barrels seem to be less finicky on ammo from what I have seen. Maybe the longer length stabilizes the bullet better. Just an assumption.
Rome makes an incredible handle for the bottom of this rifle (very much like the Cheytec has) I wish it was arca as well as picatinny but its an incredible handle. Def better than holding your rifle by the scope
Thank you very much for the Video, Ray! I‘ am very interested in buying the Venus PRO Small Bore. Can you please tell me where I can find the „MACHINE Services Inc. .22 Targets“? Thank you in advance and best regards from Germany
Hello Ray... A friend of mine asked me if I had heard of Victrix about 6 months ago... and I had not. It was during the health times that both you and I experienced. Honestly, I had completely forgotten about that... until seeing your video just now. I would love to share 30 minutes of time with you about them and a few desires ( match equipment ). I will preface that talk to save time by saying that I shoot a small competition club 35 minutes from my shop. We shoot 100/200yd. Benchrest, BR-50, Steel matches, Action Pistol, and also Rimfire matches. The things that I am potentially interested in are RF .22 actions or barreled actions ( single shots and repeaters ) to replace the six Suhl 150's of which two are repeaters... I made 20 mags with Ti bodies/ followers, and PVD coated them. I also made 12 billet mag bodies out of a special mix of 7T6 and PVD coated in our shop with a plastic follower and spherical spring... that were fantastic, so I sold 6 of them to make a Bakers dozen of AICS 11 round mags and 10 for my .50... lol. Respectfully, Seth
😊 I always learn stuff from your videos😮 40 MOA of incline before the scope? It makes long range rimfire seem like an artillery exercise😂 especially with your super long barrel... .. I'd love to see the center fire model Of the next rifle..
I tried and they were going to let me review some. It was too difficult trying to get up with their regional sales guy. I did check out their new 14.5mm at Shot Show. It was incredible!
That's the tier this is at. You can get a whole Ruger RPR for $1200ish ADL, if that's what you can afford, and it'll tickle a mile just fine. The action, just the action on my rifle was twice that. To each their own.
$4k is steep but I guess if you’re into that niche market, then enjoy the living daylights out of this hobby 😊 kinda makes me want to buy a Ruger precision 22lr, (like that one video you posted not too long ago) put an arken scope and call it a day! 😅
I am waiting for the next rifle that has more & better features than The Anschutz 1782-Centerfire PRS/NRL Precision Rifle, I am all but sure that isn't possible from any in the world,....it may only be copied at best....maybe.....
Realistically how many people, in the midst of Bidenomics, have that kind of disposable income plus the expenses that go along with travel to matches and time away from a job that generates that type of money. No doubt it’s nice, unique, and a few people can afford them but be honest, most can’t. What it does do is put more space between shooters who can and the majority who can’t.
@@XRING As true as that likely is, the phrase has become comical. There were shot-show bingo-cards being passed around where "game changing" was one of the squares. I'm giving you sound advice. Use groundbreaking, cutting edge, innovative or (if you must) revolutionary. But never "game changing".

Thanks LL and thanks for watching the channel.
Oh man. What a great partnership. Im excited FOR you and will await your videos even more eagerly than I do already. Go get 'em, Ray!
Best of luck at the match and thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks SJohnson and thanks for watching !

Victrix is absololutely all time top ten!
Soooo, are other Rimfire rifles you have for sale ?? Maybe once I move down there ,I'll dip my toe in rimfire competition 😅
Really enjoy your videos, always good and helpful info, thanks
The standard EU thread for rim fires are 1/2x20

Def better than holding your rifle by the scope
Love the scope! Quality setup!
dang that's a great looking rifle.
Thanks for a great video. Good luck this weekend.
Thanks fer sharing & Best of Luck at the Match Ole' timer,....from one ole' timer to the next.....although I got a decade on ya.....lol
LOL Eric! Time waits for no one.
Thank you very much for the Video, Ray!

Wishing you Good Luck at the match !
Thank you very much for pronouncing the name of the brand correctly.
I do try!
I can't find 11/10 Armory online. I've tried the 11/10, 11 ths, elven tenths, but still can't seem to find them in Tennessee.
Great stuff, glad you have seen the light ;)
I hope you have been doing well Oddur. Been thinking really long about visiting you in Iceland!

Thank You Sir! Have a great match! 👍🇺🇲
@xring - What bore guide would fit the Venus Pro SB? Boretech has no idea
😊 I always learn stuff from your videos😮 40 MOA of incline before the scope? It makes long range rimfire seem like an artillery exercise😂 especially with your super long barrel...

Nice to hear that Victrix has importer in the USA 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻
But not if you cannot contact them. Haven't found a contact point yet, and Xring didn't respond to my comment.
I would love to see you give Cadex some lime light. They are extremely well built rifles but there’s not much info on TH-cam about them.
I tried and they were going to let me review some. It was too difficult trying to get up with their regional sales guy.

@@XRING that’s to bad but if you ever get the chance that would be awesome! I recently just got a kraken and absolutely love it.
Would love to see lot testing process what “bad” groups look like in this gun
🤑 It's a beautiful blue..🕊️
Best of luck to you
Thanks John!
Good luck!
Thanks !
Beautiful rifle
Good luck. Have a great match. Be Safe
@xring Ray do you still like the 26” barrel or do you wish you went shorter?
I’m actually happy with the 26” bbl. It’s longer than most but doesn’t cause me any issues.
@@XRING ordered 😉
@OhMyVideology that’s awesome ! Please let me know when you get yours.
@@XRING Let me know when find a good Bag rider attachment for the rear, would save me the search time :) - I trust your judgement
@@OhMyVideology Will do for sure.
🤘 😁 🤘
Ray you’re looking at 8 grand for a set up rifle , that’s steep money
For sure! However, that’s about where many of the guys are at with their setups.
Definitely not cheap.

*T&E Samples available?*
For a centerfire gun surely, but a rimfire at that price has almost no measurable audience.
But I suppose there’s a market for it somewhere.
I really think you would be surprised. Just build a Vudoo or RimX and you aren’t far from that price at all.
When I saw the thumbnail I thought it was going to be a sad health kind of video 😅
$4k is steep but I guess if you’re into that niche market, then enjoy the living daylights out of this hobby 😊
kinda makes me want to buy a Ruger precision 22lr, (like that one video you posted not too long ago) put an arken scope and call it a day! 😅
Good on you. I'm sure there is room for a new good rifle
Already bought the atx cause of you dont do this to me! 😅
LOL! The AT-X is a fine rifle as well. 👍🏼
Never heard of Victrix.... Don't know if that's a good thing
1913 is stanag not anschuntz
Yes, however the catalogue called it an Anschutz rail.
I am waiting for the next rifle that has more & better features than The Anschutz 1782-Centerfire PRS/NRL Precision Rifle, I am all but sure that isn't possible from any in the world,....it may only be copied at best....maybe.....
Ho un Anschutz 1782 APR in 308.
È fantastico
lol $4200… good luck.
Not for everyone.
That’s deep pockets money for the rifle plus what you put on it , probably $8,000 dollars rig

Whatever you do, please don't ever refer to whatever you're working on as "game changing". It's so overused as a buzz word. Instant cringe.
Well, I can’t think of a better catch phrase. It’s never been done before. 👍🏼

@OFFICIALUND Will do and thanks for the advice.
If it is game changing then use the term game changing!
It would be game changing for guntubers to NOT use the words “game changing”.
Voodooo 22mag always has feed issues. Awesome 5000$ paperwieght. Vooodoooodooo
