    Thanks for your videos... i savwd them. I have a marcy gym coming next week.
    I had one years ago and gave it to the neighbors kids. This video was helpful to remind me what to do.

    Great video! This gives me the motivation I needed to get started. Perhaps use a tripod in the future, I felt like I was on a ship while watching this video.

    Just bought a Marcy 1005 home gym. Going to be using your work out routines whilst I break in myself and the home gym.

    I have this model as well. you have fitted the arms the wrong way round, its a rowing exercise where your chest is against the pad and you pull the arms towards you, its not an over head push up exercise (Standing Military Press ) instructions show this. Also as you will know with the arms the wrong way round, AS YOU HAVE THEM so you can stand up and do the over head push ups, its not right. 1 YOU CAN NOT STAND IN THE RIGHT PLACE TO DO THE EXERCISE , 2 IF YOU FULLY EXSTEND YOURS ARMS THE WEIGHT ROD COMES OUT OF THE WEIGHTS AND GETS STUCK. 3 ANYONE OVER 5.10 IN HIGHT IS TO BIG TO DO IT. (Sorry about the caps did not see it was on caps) If you have the exercise poster that comes with the gym you can see it shows the exercise pulling the arms to you and there is NO over head push ups. Also when doing some of the other exercises you need to push the arms forward out the way so they do not get in the way , and again the exercise poster shows this. Also anyone over 5.8 could not use it that way. You have your poster on the wall I see behind your gym, just check it and you will see you have the arms on the wrong way round. Also when you are doing your pull downs with the over head bar you are leaning right back because the arms are in the way , They should be pushed forward out the way so you can sit up right. If you had the arms on the right way round you just put them forward so you can do the exercise right. I have done a review on here and it shows how they should be fitted.

      Yeah seems like he did it the wrong way but we all mistakes . Just one thing bothers me and that’s his overhead press on this wich by far seem to be correct . The lowering part seems close to proper form on a barbell but it ain’t and the upwards motion is just wrong normally with a barbell you push al the way up and get you’re head backwards and the barbell on the upper part of the movement is going slightly backwards over the head and not in front of you’re head if you know what I’m trying to say .

      make sure you do not put the arms on the wrong way round like he has in this clip. its a rowing exercise not over head exercise

    Bro when doing those lat pull-downs try not to go that low to you’re chest but just to shoulder height will help you with some better gains

      @@MannyCortes44 you’re welcome we all here to learn from each other and share experiences . But either way of doing those lat pull downs is great as low as chest or shoulder height just slightly hits and stretches different

    Hi mate. I take it you do know you have the arms fitted on the wrong way round ? They are not meant for over head push up. if you switch the arms around they then adjust BACK not forward so you can do a rowing exercise. Even the instructions show this and the exercise sheet that comes with it.

    Looks like you need to tighten up the tension line. There looks to be too much play in it. I found that moving the pully wheel in the back, from the last hole, to the second to last hole helps. It helped me get more out of my Marcy gym.✌️🤟🤟

      Adjusting the locking nut in the weight rod will fine tune the cable

      Blind thanks for the support. If you are talking about the Marcy gym. I would say its not for you just because of the height. The lat pull down is about 6 ft tall. So to be able to do any exercise on this gym in my opinion its more suited for those under 6 ft. I'm sure they are other home gyms that will accommodate tall individuals like the commercial brand gyms. Good luck and keep grinding.

    Hey Manny how many days do you workout each part of your body and can you do curls with the low cable on your machine my machine lifts off the ground when I do arm curls with the Bar do you have the same problem

      Hey Silvio I train every body part once a week hard right now. As far as lower cable bicep curls if you go too heavy the machine can move. What I have done a few times is reverse my stance on the machine by doing curls with my back facing the back of the machine and having my body stand on the lower pull seated row plate. I also have done them seated and on the knees with success. Give it a try and let me know how it goes. On my next bicep workout I'll do 1 or 2 of them movements so you can check it out.       mine says it can only do 16 lifts, I think i got it adjusted but i'm confused about the lock does yours have a lock and what is the purpose of the lock

      @@bobdenver7126 The lock is so you can keep other people from using it when you're not there. It hooks to the weight pin. Good for people that have kids, or a jerk roommate that won't put it back on your settings when they're done😉💪✌️
