for me the real problem right now is the optimization, very few people has a good pc to handle this game (specially CPU) and this kills the game even if its free to play, the game has to be accessible
i think the current state of the game is the closest thing to balanced we ever got

we actually share the same opinions on cloak and heavy shields, althought shields can now be disabled pretty easily with a glitch, so id say mby reduce again a bit the health of shields, and they should reduce grapple cooldown for light, cuz its nowhere near dash or invis, cuz u cant engage + disengage with the grapple due to the timing being so long, meanwhile u can pretty much smoke anyone and cloak 0.001s after killing him
what they should do for invis is add more sound to the non-moving cloaked players + add a 0.5s-1s delay everytime u do an aggressive action and go out of invis, like if u sneak up on someone being invis if u shoot/throw nade/stun u cant invis for a short period of time, but u could insta invis if u engage while not being cloaked
need to stop nerfing the heavy class after a while

@@brxmes I main medium and I think that the heavy has been nerfed significantly enough that further nerfs would risk damaging the classes playability. Also accusing of bias in the face of valid arguments is quite immature as far as I'm concerned.
The grapple cooldown should be effected with the damage u do so for example you use the grapple to get in to a fight you get a boost on your cooldown and get u back faster so the light becomes more where it used for to enter and leave fighters real quick! So you can use the grapple to get in to the fight reward your self with a get away grapple idk just a thought ✌🏼
If they nerf invis, which they should, they will need to find a way to buff lights to make them more competitively viable. Other than a small buff to hp and gadgets I can’t imagine anything else that would work that wouldn’t be too much or too little
I want to see a more movement based meta on light. But i would say heavy is on a fine place.
I've been saying this almost since day 1. One way shields are bad for this game, and adding a delay in going between visible and not visible would for the most part balance invis
If shields stopped my allies’ gadgets from passing through, I might as well be throwing on purpose with how many nades I’m catching from my random teammates behind me.
Maybe stop bullets at most if you really have to but I don’t want all these friendly-fire nades accumulating around my feet.

I do feel like there's counters to heavy but Invis should have like a cool down like 8 seconds or something cause its just no counter to it honestly
Nerf stuns and the Scar, buff mac 10 range, give lights 25-50 extra health and a second or 2 quicker health recovery.

@Synodai Yeah I'm just being bias cause I don't play heavy, and I queue solo usually. It's alot of people that don't seem to know team shooting a shield will destroy it pretty fast.

Are we talking about casual play or ranked? Cause imo mesh shields need a nerf, majority of you don’t play high ranks, I only play ranked and the mesh shield with SA1216 needs a massive nerf!, 2 heavies running mesh shield and SA1216 and a medium with healing beam is overpowered, they come through push everything and reload cancel with the SA1216 and healed by medium , it’s super broken, cloak doesn’t bother me much but that double heavy mesh shield shotty bs is too OP
What if they just made invis like wraith q in apex, like you can't shoot until the whole thing is over and it takes a sec to activate, though the difference would be that they can't see where you go
This gotta be the best rework to cloak that i've seen. Even if it has a rly short cooldown (or maybe it has charges) forcing you to complete the full cloak and having a brief delay (maybe 0.5 sec) before you can shoot when exiting cloak would be awesome. Great idea bro
Balance pretty good right now, in terms pf guns the FCAR and XP54 are still top and do need small nerfs and ya invis is still way too good to pass up

I know you main light but you need to play heavy mesh lewis gun mesh dome and barricade to understand how hard it is to hit lights up close via stun, dash or invis. Dash and stun need a nerf. Stun needs 1s nerf and glitch already nerfed in half. Dash needs to be slightly slower
A heavy player actually thinks dash needs a nerf lmao.. u can kill 2 dash lights easy on heavy with a lewis. sounds like you need to aim better or play ur mesh better
I keep getting third partyed and double teamed so I just quit the game because playing like with third parties all the time just ruins the fun.
As we know this game is a rock-paper-scissor. You can counter heavy as light but you cant counter light as medium. Cloak needs a nerf

Just how is his FPS so high? I'm running 5900x+3090
Game running low settings except view distance with no dlss and for the life of me I can't get over 160 and it's not stable at all!! major fsp drops mid fights
Only happens on the finals, Tried lowering resolution to the same res he's using with no impact to my game fps...

@@m.poppins4843 My cpu usage doesn't exceeded 40-50%, idk seems strange to me
Also the difference between 160 fps max with fps drops to the stable 220-240 he's getting seems pretty big considering his twitch channel says he's running 12900k CPU
I get around 120-150fps on a 5700x + 3070 with no frame drop, it could be the way you have your pc optimized. also he has a i9 14900k, 4090 and 32gb ddr5
@KA1RUU What graphic settings are you running? still there is a diff between 3070 and a 3090 and I'm running all low with almost similar fps to you

This could explain the fps difference but to be honest my main concern is the fps drops, going from 140 fps to 100 fps in a drop mid fight is just fucking gameplay
Tried about anything under the sun and didn't solve it, other games are working just fine

Cloak kills the whole game for me, any game that has invisibility just turns me off, call it a skill issue I don't care its just not an enjoyable mechanic to me in games like this
If you were to take cloak out like they did recon, what kind of ability would you give light instead of cloak?

I agree. Vanish bomb is cool but cloak is so annoying rn. They should make it a little more noticable up close

Nerf light to much it’s going make the game rampant with Heavy’s.

keep in mind light has like 10 hp and you die before you can turn around.
might as well just have one class at this point.
I really don’t think invis is op, it’s really loud and not hard to see when they are moving. I do think you shouldn’t be able to stand still and just disappear tho
I think it's because some people's monitors don't see it easily. Personally the invis makes a tiny difference to my ability to kill lights, but for some of my friends it's very life or death.
@@hugegamer8004 that might be true, I play on a big tv and they’re easy to spot most of the time, it is annoying when they are just crouched invis on point with a stun gun when you try to steal cause there’s not really a counter for that
There are people that play above 1080p which makes it extremely hard to see. I have no problem seeing them on 1080p but when im on my brothers monitor which is 1440p I literally can not see them no matter what the video settings are on

@TheRealRhino Yep, its always been that way in multiplayer games, even more so with video settings. In some games you can delete stuff like foliage, textures, and other stuff that gets in the way of seeing players by running your game on low settings. 1080p low settings has always been the best resolution and settings when it comes to these competitive shooters, anything more just makes things harder to see and run worse as far as frames rates are concerned.

if anything, rpg and taser should be slightly buffed to match the defib meta. Obviously don't increase rpg damage, but slight range increase or lower timer e.t.c.

i think cloak is sitting well right now. it's incredibly loud and easy to see at close to midrange. it just lets you take advantage of distracted enemies more easily and helps escape and reposition. you can't just waltz in on a competent player or even team, expecting them not to instantly shoot at you.#
and i'm honestly fine with the shields too. it makes light actually play an important role, other than getting kills/makes glitch nades somewhat viable. heavy stalls, heavy tanks.
Dont need balanced look at d2 balanced the same gun over 10 times just stop already
modify the light class, do not allow a paralysis faculty to be combined with an invisibility faculty on a class whose movement and aiming speed is twice as high as the other two, with a completely abused dps
If they nerfed light it would be completly useless

i would agree with you if light had "twice the movement speed" Light does not even have close to twice the movement speed or aiming speed. Its minimal the difference between medium and light movement speed
