How does it work?
Snap & Go uses an image recognition sensor to take a quick 'snap' of each product's packaging. The packet is captured in a digital image, and all relevant item information including product ref, batch number, expiry date, and more, are recorded straight into the EMR.
Full integration with the Item Master and Charge Capture systems plus your EHR, ERP and MMIS mean that valuable OR data flows straight to where it's needed for smooth clinical, operational and financial performance.
When surgical usage documentation is made simple, nurses can focus on patients, not products.
OR and procedure room usage documentation is simplified in three ways:
1. DATA CAPTURE: This is now a 3 second task.
The product is simply placed under Snap&Go's sensor, and its computer vision 'reads' the label and packet. It digitally records all item data, including the batch number and expiry, which commonly need to be manually keyed-in.
2. ITEM IDENTIFICATION: This is now an automated process.
AI technology and access to a globally populated product database, mean that healthcare providers can finally break free from reliance on their Item Master. Items are quickly identified, either via the global database, or, if that doesn't find a match, then our back-office team will do all the legwork and get the product loaded for you.
3. USAGE DOCUMENTATION: This is now an automated process.
