My dad bought a Troy Bilt horse in 1981, all cast iron, brass transmission, etc. He gave it to me when he stopped using it, it is the one yard machine that gives me no problem starting in the spring...

Hey there, I inherited a Pony form my dad, that looks a lot like the one you have here, minus the electric start... but the air filter, carb, and fuel tank set up looks just like mine.
Problem is, mine isn't assembled. I know how the main parts fit together, but it's the linkages that I am having trouble with... any idea on where there might be some detail on how the linkages attach down by the tank area?
Any thoughts would be most appreciated... I have been striking out with my online searches.

Can you run it with only the wheels going and not the tines so you can walk it from your shed to the garden and not worry about digging into your lawn or feet?
