They are. Bayo 3 is a very unpolished and unoptimized game, a direct result of Platinum Games making a game way to ambitious for the awful Switch hardware. The result is a mess.

Saying they achieved a great result with this game is a lie and it shows. It can be fun, but not like this, not in this state.
Great game but they missed out quite a lot of the things we love about the game. Missing moves, missing outfits, can’t play through the entire game as jeanne or viola u HAVE to play bayonetta on story missions. And u can’t tell me its for continuity bc we never played jeanne for continuity the immersion was broken seeing 2 jeannes in the first bayonetta so its pure laziness here in fact it actually might of made sense here bc of the multiverse. And imagine seeing 3 jeannes in the end wearing bay 1,2 and 3 outfits.

For those who are confused about the Misinformation. You NEED To have Save data from both 1 and 2 to get the previous guns. THEY DO NOT show after completing the game without them like so many people say IF you have the save data of both games, you can get them as soon as the shop is unlocked i believe. (Meaning after the Prologue.) AGAIN YOU NEED THE SAVE DATA FROM BOTH GAMES. The confusion most likely happened because people have the earlier games and didn't understand exactly how it worked. Not saying that's the case but that's my guess on why the confusion happened.
Heel tornado is present for Love is Blue in Bayonetta 2! Just like Witch Twist, but you have to simultaneously press dodge and kick to perform it. The Bayonetta 3 input in Bayonetta 2 will perform Bullet Climax with the legs (as shown here)
I hope platinum update the resolution for bayo 3, I mean maybe it's only me, but I can see bayo 3 kinda "blurred" and of course with less resolution, while bayo 2 looks so clear, nice and sharpened, so HD despite playing it in handled mode. I really love bayonetta 2.
Agree w/ the last phrase, but I think the reason the res suffered is because it is a switch only game, so they optimized it to run smoothly on said device (and switch gpu kinda sucks so the res suffered for fps sake probably). Also the map is way more spacious (for demon slave’s sake too I assume) and rendering everything super sharp with such huge maps woould make the fps suffer I reckon (and also bc it would’ve been too much effort perhaps. I mean they took 5 years to make it. Might’ve taken much longer if they rendered everything super crisp with the sheer collection of large stages/maps.) Still a little sad tho ofc lol.

I agree! I never realized that they changed her proportions until you use the og costume. Head is bigger and shorter limbs. This game was a bit of a disappointment. Much prefer the gameplay and art style of 1 and 2.

I’m glad Bayo 3 exists but here’s my issue with it: the Switch just isn’t powerful enough for a game like Bayonetta. Maybe it’s because Bayo 3 focuses heavily on the Monster Hunter type battles which makes the game feel slow, clunky, and overall inaccurate. Bayonetta is all about speed and accuracy (while being stylish obvi). It’s a fun game but it fails at what makes a Bayonetta game a Bayonetta game. Not to mention, (this might be me) but Bayo 3 did a few things that really stood out to me and for some reason it bothered me. 1. Bayo 3 dances waaaaaay too much, like a damn idol (I get she’s a different Bayo but it was still distracting at times). 2. They overused the butterfly effects when she jumps/walks 3. Moon serenade was used waaaaaay too much (I thought it would be used sparingly like Fly Me to the Moon and Moon River). It was used almost every verse battle. I’m not getting hype when it comes on like the others. I think the game feels … … …too girly??? Am I wrong🤔🤔🤔
I think the word you're looking for is "tame". Perhaps a comparison; prologue in B1 Enzo is almost crushed by a tombstone and a planecrash, in B2 is nearly hit by a fighter jet and literally driven up a wall (of a skyscraper), and in B3 he's... almost hit by a baseball. Action, comedy, character, plot. B3 is just lesser in every way save for sheer scale, style without substance.

You have to press Select (-) during a loading screen. Its kind of tricky on pc since it loads so quickly lol. You can also go to Rodin’s shop and try out a technique.

Not a fan of Bayonetta 3 unfortunately. Helena really solidified this unfortunately by her own doing but then again, she is an actor. Actors, no matter who they may be are *ALWAYS* over dramatic and at times, attention seeking.

No censor mode. For some reason these costumes seem censored by default or just unfinished when it comes to summons..
Bayonetta clothes no longer partially dissappear when she does a combo finisher, it only happens when using demon slave now.

you need the save data from the first game on your switch, then you got it at rodin shop after finished the story
Two ways
1. Have Bayo 1 (or 2) save data on your switch, you get them early in the shop
2. Beat the story in any difficulty
