Great Northern Flats: a snowshoe on the North Fork of the Flathead across the river from Glacier NP

The Great Northern Flats sits on the west side of the North Fork of the Flathead River north of Columbia Falls, Montana. Glacier National Park sits on the other side of the river. The Flats is a great area to snowshoe and cross country ski in the winter time.
