Thank you for saying this. That was one thing I always wondered about after watching this series. That and I still don't get the whole kite being born again thing
They dont need to show much gon was literally shown to be from the very first episode that he will go crazy mad if someone he just met and became friends with got hurt , the people complaining about gon rage r dumb af and doesn’t understand a single thing about hxh

This scene alongside many others is why I don’t like the series much. Gon and especially Kill are just so overpowered then many characters that it’s hard to call anyone a “professional hunter” As these two are legitimately stronger then 90% of the Hunter Association. Same with the Phantom Troupe who might as well be rulers of the earth. Literally wiping the floor with what is supposedly meant to be a world wide crime syndicate like the Ten Dons. Seriously HXH power scaling is just all over the place...
Late to reply but i don't know because I feel that at best you could say Gon and Killua get strong really quickly compared to the norm. I feel the arc when they entered the tournament explained it best of how there is just naturally a huge gap from many of the top fighters and the rest of Nen users. How Gon and Killua were natural users and the other kid (forgot his name) even with his hard work and expereinced in understanding Nen trialed behind Gon and Killua.
@@phantomzxro1 yeah. Its just that the powerscaling is insane. I’m not exaggerating when I say their basically more powerful then 90% of the Hunter Association. An organization made up of the most powerful people alive. I’d be more forgiving if they were just as powerful as like 50% but more then that is just ridiculous. Especially Kill who at the beginning of the series might as well be powerful enough to stand toe to toe with some of the highest ranking hunters.
Honestly HxH is full of plotholes and discrepancies that I feel like where it ended is pretty much the best conclusion for it. What writer has imagined for the rest of the journey is way too big to finish and makes this part of the story a bit pointless, too. I enjoyed it quite a bit, but it is definitely a 7-8/10 at best.
Eh. They didn't reach the "high tier" hunters until this arc. They cleared the average "pro hunter" (thanks to talent developed through upbringing and events/people in the series) but they also regularly get outclassed in every arc by multiple characters, even by the end of most of em. But Killua does pretty much say something about "pro hunters" they've met not living up to the title when compared to someone like Kite. Tbh though, we don't really get to compare them to that many hunters outside of Greed Island ig. Regardless, they do have an unreal growth rate, even if they have beasts like Hisoka, Bisky, Razor, and Kite helping them grow. Also, Killua at the start is not even close to high tier hunters and I feel like the Troupe's level of power makes sense.
