    I'm from Ireland and Gemma really shows what there is to eat and do. I'd love to meet you. Ireland is famous for its Irish breakfast and when I saw that you were trying it I was very happy and excited to see it. Enjoy your stay. 💜😊

      Gemma Stafford Hi! Do you prefer the Churro from Barcelona which is fried, probably, or your own healthier version?

    • @andrewcullen8635
      @andrewcullen8635 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Gemma, Black (Blood) and White (Hogs) Pudding are Puddings. This is because the last process in production is to boil it, So you can eat it cold but like most I prefer them flash fried. Sausages are made then normally kept raw until needed then cooked.
      I did not think the Irish included any Potato unless it was Potato Bread? If you come to England the only difference between the Full Irish and the Full English is we do not include the White Pudding? I do if I make it myself about once a month on a Sunday as a Brunch.

    Unbelievable we are so far away yet alike. I'm from Peru, and we also eat beans, blood sausages, A LOT of fish, and TONS of potatoes. There are over 3500 kinds of potatoes here, but I, as a city girl, only know 15 kinds by name. Whenever u come here, u already have a gastronomic tour guide in me ;) Loved this episode, Gemma 😃

    Hey, I'm Gemma too. I'm a welshie who has Irish blood and I visited for the first time this year and had the most amazing time. It sounds strange but I said to my cousin.. "it feels like coming home" I'm planning another tour next year some point and I can't wait. Ireland much like wales is green, wet, windy and truly magical. I'm happiest in nature and by the sea and and Ireland has plenty of that. It really is pure joy to the soul.

    lol to all the people arguing about where the food originates from. Why are people so precious and petty. Scottish, English, Irish, welsh. We all from the British isles so we share a lot of our cuisine. After all its not far to travel so of course they where adopted and adapted by neighbours. What realy matters is the nummy food :D. Full Breakfast and fish and chips. Thats two meals sorted for a day, what for lunch though.

    The food all looks so goooood. It's also nice that most of these places aren't really in the big urbanized cities with it's big signs and large crowds, but instead all small but picturesque towns. Really motivates me to explore more. You never know what you'll find!

    Gemma, while you were driving down to the quaint village of Kilmore quay, it was reminding me of locales in the Pierce Brosnan- Jullianne Moore starrer, Law's of attraction. You should start a separate channel for savoury stuff as well and cook fish n chips amongst other delicacies.

    I'm rewatching this as I was meant to be in Wexford over this last weekend for the Light Opera, but obviously was all postponed so I'm living vicariously through this video! There is nothing that compares to the fish and chips at Kilmore Quay! (Also, I love how the Irish will always refer to themselves as coming/going home. My mum's parents were from Ferns and despite my mum never having lived in Ireland, my gran was always asking her when she was coming home 💚)

    Gemma, you are so good at hosting a food tour! I could almost taste the foods!! I have always wanted to visit Ireland, and you have sealed the deal and I want to go now more than ever! I hope some day my husband and I can see your beautiful homeland. I am from a rural area in south central Missouri, so it also is very farm to table, too, and has beautiful scenery with rolling hills and Ozarks riverways. I hope you can visit my state and see the beautiful things it has to offer.

      Ah! yes, and I would love to see more of this beautiful country, and Missouri sounds like it may be like Ireland. I do hope you get to visit Ireland, and I will put Missouri on my wish list :)
