It was either Friday or Saturday that I was watching the live stream from the www.ultra4racing.com of time trials of T1 & T2 classes and some of the UTV classes. That's when I feared that either I missed your time trial or that Child's Play didn't get put together in time and had asked in your prior video what your class is/was. Thankfully in this video you posted that Feb 6th is when your class will be run. WHEW!!!! That gives you much needed extra time to complete what needs to be done to Child Play - AND that I didn't miss anything regarding your competition.

Saw you all yesterday, Saturday at 3:30. My wife and I after a day of shooting near Landers. Decided to drive down Boone Rd to check out KOH. Too many people, so we turned around and who did I see? Kev in the ultra 4 running up the side of a giant line of motor homes. About 1/4 mile behind was Brit in the step child. Doing the same thing. Trying to get past the line of motor homes. We honked and waved. Very cool to see you all. We're at the cabin 2 miles west of Koh.
people say money cant buy happiness but dang this looks like a stressful but amazing thing to do. best of luck to both of you and all your crazy hard work will pay off.
Great to see it all coming together. I tried to get out there on the Toyo weekend to lend some moral support, but other things (wheeling!) pulled me away. I’ve heard from trusted sources that the rig looked good in testing and you guys are making it happen! I SWEAR I will be out there before, and on, race day to cheer you on. Just a hint, if you attach a line to one corner of the max trax and attach it to the buggy,,,, you don't have to walk back 50 miles to retrieve it when you are unstuck. It will go with you until you can pick it up.

Gotta be honest. I was super bummed when you guys started focusing on the Ultra 4 car, because I enjoy the rock crawling, but I have really enjoyed the re-building process. Goes to show you that I have no idea what I enjoy. 😂
Yes, sure ... go ahead and drive the ultra-four car in LA. CHP(California Highway Patrol) will be all over you. As Britney pointed out, the rain in LA is a cold rain...just cold enough so you want to put on a sweater as well as a something waterproof. Next Saturday(Feb 6) looks like it will be a dry day in Johnson Valley(no slick rocks). Saturday Feb 6 Mostly Sunny Day: Mostly sunny. Highs around 59°F. Northwest wind to 10 MPH, gusting to 16 MPH. Bring a sweater and have a great time!
You previously spent a lot of time tuning the shocks. Do you think that will be effected with all of the changes in weight between the axles, driveshafts, suspension links, and other add-ons?
After seeing how much work went into this, a DNF would be heartbreaking. But, knowing how high that risk is, makes finishing that much sweeter if you pull it off.
