I think we should have a bit more coins, and another thing that a lot of people don't even talk about (probably because the most of content creators have every brawler unlocked) are credits, as a f2p you basically need 4 months to unlock a legendary brawler (and they don't even feel legendary anymore, like I find a lot more interesting some epic brawlers than some actual legendary ones, they definetly haven't the value of 4 epic)

Every brawler that gets added is a progression nerf because you have to upgrade them. Id be fine if they made every Brawler balanced but stopped releasing another broken brawler that they would have to nerf.

I know that everyone hated the removal of boxes but they were one of (if not the) best things that could be done to brawl stars: the game was dying and mayor changes were the only way to save it. Even though, it would be fun seeing them back but a bit different, like giving u coins, powerpoints (non-brawler specific), some credits, and then up to 3 bonus rewards being or a cosmetic item, or a skin, or a brawler, or tokens (since token doublers shouldn't be a thing anymore, just make them tokens) that are between the 100 and 3000 - with a 1 percent change to get 10 000

The feeling of getting your 1st legendary from boxes is something we can never forget
First of, I have started playing brawl again in December, and I gotta say, the credit system is really nice, but I get brawlers way too fast. I have more coins than pp (even tho my coins are getting drowned rn) but I can only upgarde brawlers to power 9 cus I dont want to spend too many ressources. I think the progression system is fine, I like the removal of boxes (cus supercell is actually adressing the Lootbox problem as a big company), BUT I will never forget my best megabox with griff, byron and meg in the same box. Those are memories they will take away from me. And as you have been mentioning many people in my school are playing brawl again, and even tho they are not as tryhard as me, its still super fun to play with them.
PS: I get Brawlers too quick for me to actually take my time and learn the brawlers and push them to 750 at least. I have like 7 brawlers on sub 300 trophies and dont find my time enjoying them, probably because everyone is like at least p10 in low trophies, which makes playing low as a solo unenjoyable. But great video :D!
I also kinda see it as a problem, we get more brawlers than we can upgrade in that time which is pretty annoying, for example on my main I have like 12 brawlers at p1 and before I can even upgrade them new ones are released
i use to upgrade a lot of brawlers before. now it feels so slow. maybe the part of the reason is because i have already claimed all coins on bronze 1 but still...
Brawler unlocking has got really very much easier, but mega pig is the worst
i feel like rn im only upgading brawlers with hypercharges which says alot as before you wanted all brawlers to be even but now u just want the hypercharge

Yes, the answer is yes. Honestly, the best it has ever been was before starr drops and after bye bye boxes.
i guess now long term progression is worse, but short term progression is better, which contributes to incoming players sticking to the game
I think progression is pretty good. I'm a f2p with every brawlers and only 20 brawlers who aren't at level 11. But I wouldn't like to be new player in this game. They have so much to unlock now.
I miss the boxs :/ kinda ironic supercell showed the boxs chromatics credits on the retreat :p

@@aftxrBS as someone who played since season 5, brawl stars has a much better progression rn than boxes, u can choose the brawlers u can use ur pp and coins to upgrade on,and u get more coins directly through the brawl pass than boxes,and yes i agree they have to reduce the rng in the progression like starrdrops or mega pig.

And kids still say bring back boxes they just say that because they have a gambling addiction because boxes were literaly gambling and i literaly got my first legendary at 16k when there were boxrs
Progression is not awful but at the same time not the greatest. It's when you reach the tail rewards of the brawl pass that you start to realize how slow it becomes, I just wish they could at least reduce the amount of xp needed to open a starr drop from 1600 to 1000. And let's not talk about the Megapig, that is dogwater and doesn't help with progression.
My main source of progressing my account is pushing my brawlers to silver 2 during mastery madness events, right now I'm only missing 8 to push at that level. The problem is, though: how am I going to upgrade my brawlers and unlock hypercharges without buying brawl passes once I get everyone to silver 2🤔?
I get what u mean, it is pretty hard to grind rewards right now
Also we need to talk about the lack of pp in the brawl pass (at least in the free side) you get only 2750 and that’s just not enough compared to the amount of coins you get
The worst part is you can’t even push anymore because the p2w players are maxed even in low trophies
i dont even have enough Power points to get every brawler power 7/9 🤡
Previous month I got 2 epic 1 mythic brawler and 500 credits from star drops I lost count of 100 and 200 credits I also got 2 hypercharges and a star power
Personally I have never got this much brawler from boxes in a month.I remember when it was belle season I literally got no brawler
And yes I am not including brawlers which I unlocked from star drop only brawlers that I got from star drops
I also got Angelo this season from mythic drop
we need more power points and coins from the pass, as a free2play player its a joke😡👎
It is the best it’s ever been. I’m a f2p that originally started in 2019 but didn’t really play the game much, came back in november and I have 46 brawlers already, 2 of them maxed with hc
The only thing that needs to be changed is the amount of credits you get after 10k trophies because you get basically none and they add more and more brawlers without buffing the amount of credits you get, causing you to rely on the brawl pass.
how is progression more RNG then ever if boxes existed
U were guaranteed progression, now u can get cosmetics
I remember back in the day we had like 35 brawlers, it was pretty fast, but now we are nearing 80 brawlers, its just to much for a starting player, i lost my 48k account and even if i buy bp every month i feel like am gonna be spending so much time and money to finally max my account. Aftxr never fails to distract me when am studying. (Pls another vid with voice)
It's not too bad, but more random than it used to be which is weird, and if Hypercharges didn't exist it would be so perfect 😢
(We didn't get a buff although the cost for maxing out a brawler increased by a lot)
Without hypercharge maxing out would be pretty easy

You know, what I would love is making the rewards for the super grindy players actually worth it (tail rewards, silver 3, high fame ranks....)
Because people who play 30 minutes a day and do about half of their quests get almost the same progression as people who grind every token, it's really unfair.
They could, for example, give the old tail rewards after getting 15 of them (and keep the option for a starr drop)
Or they could add a few gems and bling when reaching new fame ranks, it wouldn't be too much as people can only reach a new fame rank once.
What do you think?
At least they made upgrading a Brawler „more meaningful“ , so it is more rewarding to wait that long to upgrade one 😂💀.

boxes are clearly better than stadrops but u have to keep in mind that now we have events (the biggest one we had chroma no more i litterally got 6 free chromatics from that) mega pig, starr road, ranked, brawl pass
Boxes were MAIN source of progression, now Starr drops are bonus, main progresssion is the pass

The game is too casual at the moment. Excluding masteries,( which are not much anyway) players who grinds a lot everyday gets almost the same amount of stuff as players who barely does their tasks, and daily xp/drops.
Finally someone mentioned this, I swear u don’t even get rewarded that much if u grind
