It looks like you had loads of fun on your detective mission in London and you were even lucky enough to find a few more coins to add to your Change Checker album! Great video Chris, thanks for sharing :)
As an enormous coin and Sherlock enthusiast, this was one of my favourite videos I’ve ever made. And don’t forget to check out the coin for £4.50 (+P&P) on the Change Checker website - this is my first EVER sponsored video, and I’m genuinely delighted to be working with a brand that so perfectly aligns with my channel - thank you Change Checker!
@@connorburbine9459 The state quarters are cool. They're about the same shape, size and colour as our 10p's, and therefore many have ended up being circulated in our country as people use them as 10p's without realising (Sherlock's point about people not being observant is true). My brother-in-law has collected all but 2 or 3 of the state quarters (I've only got 3 myself though), without ever setting foot in the US or carrying out a cash transaction in US dollars, which gives you an idea how often a quarter escapes the US and starts circulating here instead.
I like they way you don't labour the point about the change checker app the second time you use it - you've already explained it once, you just get on and show yourself using it a second time. You get the tone just right.
Yes using it and not how amazing the app is and you should go download it because it’s amazing no he actually shows myself using it rather than talking about the app and showing a short clip of him using it which shows nothing about the app
Bruh I hate it how Americans don’t know about all the cool designs of the British coins. As a coin collector myself having a collection worth around £6450 they must be missing out.
We do have special coinage but they are not for normal circulation. We do have the ANZAC 50c pieces (the coloured ones) - there are two of them now and these are for circulation.
My favorite coin is probably the America the Beautiful set. I can’t choose one! I found a 1958 Wheat Penny from a restaurant, and 2 1927 Wheat Pennies from the bank!

I like the steam locomotive £2 coin because it's the first special coin I ever found. It was given to me by a really nice dude at this shop locally as change for when I bought a chocolate bar.
All of them are amazing because in Romania we for our coins we just have a metal disk with the definition on it like 50 or 10 so its very nice to have so many cool coins Here in england

My favorite coin would probably have to be the US Susan B. Anthony Dollar coin because it commemorates the Apollo moon landings on the back with an Eagle Placing an laurel branch on the moon. The coolest coin I found was a German 1905 1 Pfenning. I found it in the penny slot of my cash register at an Ice Cream stand I worked at when I was younger. It made my day

It's kind of ironic that Holmes has become such a beloved character, given that one of his key traits is that only one person in the entire world likes him (and even he doesn't really understand why). :) My favorite coin, rather prosaically, is the U.S. 1¢ from 1909-1958, popularly known as the "wheat penny" because the reverse has a pair of wheat ears as a decorative fringe around the "ONE CENT" marking. Although the wheat design was replaced in 1959, pennies in those days were made of real bronze* (as opposed to the modern version, which is mostly zinc with a thin copper plating), so they're durable enough that you can still verrrry occasionally find a wheat penny in the wild today. * except during World War II, when they were steel--as you might imagine, not a lot of those left today
My favorite coin is an American “Hawaii Volcanoes” 25 cent coin. I also have a mini coin collection, I have lots of state coins and other coins like a “ Theodore Roosevelt” 25 cent coin. :) (:
This video was really interesting! I am a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes and actually started reading the Hound Of The Baskervilles on what would have been Conan Doyle's 160th birthday purely by chance and I'm hoping to get to visit 221b Baker Street at some time this month. Unfortunately my collection is quite small, and consists mainly of mangled pennies from various places, but I also have a Peter Rabbit 50p, a London Underground £2, a couple of different coins from Jersey and even a hapenny
