Howdy, I really enjoy your channel, I'm a 4th generation beef farmer in Alberta, I noticed you said it was October 13th... I know farming keeps you busy all the time, especially spring and fall, but I was hoping to see more recent videos from mid November, as it's now the 21st,
Anyways, as I said, really enjoy seeing other Canadian farmers here on TH-cam, it would be nice to see more here in Canada, like they have to our southern fellow farmers..

Is there a reason that they seem to do more chisel plowing down south in the states. But up north they do more mullboard plowing. Or is it more of what you like? I know the soil is alot blacker up north then down here in the southern states.

Dad can run non stop with a squeaky seat. Me? If I plop my ass down and heard as much as a peep out comes the lube. Keep the tops off the fancy WD-40 cans with the flexible metal straws. Most of the time you can use them on cans that actually contain a product that lubricates. Graphite spray for the seat is my go to. Or Lucas chain lube.

I've never seen a red Steiger that doesn't say Case International or CaseIH on it, like your 9250 which appears to just say Steiger on all four sides. Did you change the decals because you like Steiger better than IH or Case? I thought maybe it was a Canadian thing, but I just looked up on Tractor House five 9200 series tractors for sale in Canada, and all have the normal Case International and CaseIH decals.

I have heard of fall moldboard plowing or fall disking alone, and letting fields lay that way until spring with no fall seeding. But I've not heard of moldboard plowing followed by disking twice, three passes in the fall without seeding, and still letting it lay that way until spring. I have also never been to Canada. Isn't erosion a problem with that?
