Wait, this actually looks good! What is Megatron’s most ICONIC weapon? *It is not his Fusion Canon,* it’s OBVIOUSLY his Energon Mace that he used in ONE episode.
This is pretty phenomenal for a $50 US action figure of this scale/articulation/accessories. Not bothered in the least he doesn't transform as it would probably cost more than double in engineering and as most TFs I display he would bot mode for the majority of his shelf life. Though the minor scuffing isn't bad the rust reminds me of dried mustard more than anything. Also as iconic as the mace has become I think it was only in More than meets the Eye part 2 he ever used it. Same I think goes for Prime's energon axe.
When you collect TF for years, an alt mode/transformation is more of a peace of mind, knowing your toys can transform. I know I won't transform most of my MPs, I can only imagine the horror lmao (paint scuff, breakage, stress mark etc)
I'm just saying. Yolopark should get full control of a renewed and better R.E.D line. Like, imagine the TF:P Optimus and Megatron done by them? My god, it would be amazing! I hope this company (Yolopark) doesn't fail or go under because there's TONS of potential for amazing Non-Transformable figures
I feel like yolopark wants to be an entry level model kit company, for those just getting into it that don’t have all the time to put a full gundam suit together off jump, given each piece is painted and has decals
They keep hitting it out of the park with these model kits! Simple assembly, great articulation, and the PRO series has tons of accessories when compared to the standard AMK series. I hope they do updated versions of the ROTB figures with this.

I was hoping to see size comparison with MP-10V, undersized KO of MP-10. If I'm not mistaken, they should both be at around 20 cm and I think they would actually work together for CHUG collection. Sure, they would be slightly out of scale compared to other bots but they are the leaders, so that should work nicely. :)
Damn. I was seriously considering getting this but doesn't scale with my ER Prime, so I may wait and see if they do anymore G1 TFers. Thanks for the review PvP - wouldn't have known without it.
Maybe they'll do a SS86 Megatron down the road with a cartoon accurate bot mode but with a tank mode due to legal reasons of them not being able to do a gun (though maybe they can still pack in some kind of secret gun alt form).
Looking back on it you can really tell how well Takara NAILED masterpiece megatron looks wise, seeing the thumbnail I really thought this was an upgrade kit for a second
I was on the fence about this guy at first, the promo photos were really unflattering and made him look like a better painted R.E.D. figure, ugh. But now I am sold. This guy looks like he's as articulated as MP-36 with the beef and proportions that remind me of Maketoys Despotron.
ya know, it's really close, but like.... there's no way this is happening, but I almost want a non-transforming studio series 86 megatron, and maybe the equivalent of a transformation can be that his face and chest and stuff sorta flip around to give him the battle damage. I still feel like none of the third party figures, or even red series have ever quite got megatron's face right. I dunno, I don't want a perfect figure, but I just want something that's sorta on the same level as ss 86 hot rod, ya know?
For some reason the faces that came with my figure look much better and almost exactly like the cartoon version. The eyes on your figure are a bit too separated. Mine looks like a different modeling and painting job, probably because the version I have is the 40th anniversary. The rest looks exactly the same. Thanks for the video.
The unpainted unibrow looks a bit funky... kinda like the original MP36 knockoff. The eyes also look kinda dead. But I can touch that up with a gundam marker. It otherwise looks great!
Got mine pre ordered already! He's gonna replace the Siege Megatron in my chug G1 collection as I just swapped out the Earthrise Prime with the MP10v, and this and the Prime should scale beautfiully. So stoked, awesome review man!
You know this figure was probably going to be rise of the beasts megatron cause we all thought he was going to appear in it as a cameo but didn’t, and since they already had a megatron planned we got this figure. I might be wrong but I’m only speculating.

Looks good but I think to me the coloring should be like the cartoon to make it stand out man... Doesn't look bad but there's something That doesn't look right and could be the color.😃💡👍☕️

This Megatron scaled comparison ti E.R Optimus makes reminds me of TF Animated Megatron towering over Animated Optimus Prime.

I don't understand doing these figures at an in-between scale. I would buy this at CHUG or MP scale, but not in the middle.

Agreed that's actually a great Idea. They can pack in a 5mm Megatron blaster as an extra weapon. There he turned into a gun...
