I started in the sport in that area back in 1985 . Its been a amazing to see how far the sport has come . Used to ride by bike few mins from the track and the big thrill was seeing the jets fly over my head from HAFB . And make the trip to Roberts Fruit Stand for a protein shake . Roberts is few mins away, good place to visit after the race .

Women's race starts at 4:50, it might be getting dark at the end? I'm not sure, I live way further north. Men's is earlier at 1:15.
