I started in the sport in that area back in 1985 . Its been a amazing to see how far the sport has come . Used to ride by bike few mins from the track and the big thrill was seeing the jets fly over my head from HAFB . And make the trip to Roberts Fruit Stand for a protein shake . Roberts is few mins away, good place to visit after the race .
It’s cool to see the athletes approaching this series with a fresh energy and the build-up definitely adds to that vibe. I’m hoping for an exciting race and an exciting season.
Why is it free to watch race in American but not over in Europe? Most of the field is from there, you would think you would make it free over here too?
